Growing in wisdom and stature

New Experiences
We are busy this week with vacation bible school!  I am a crew leader for 1-3 graders and Paul is in charge of games, so it is a full week.  Today was unique because it was snowing off and on all day!   We are currently under a snow advisory!  Did anyone else notice that it is June?  Aahhh,   life is full of new experiences.  I am sure that I have never been involved in a VBS in such cold weather.  Many of the VBS games are water-type games so Paul has been doing adapting and coming up with other ideas.

Michael is suppose to be done with baseball but his team keeps winning and advancing in the final tournament.  If they when tonight, there is one more game.  Either Thursday or Friday night (I think).
I voted to stay home with the other boys since the weather is yucky and and they have been to bed late and up early and are getting a bit grumpy, especially the three year old.  Hopefully I can get them to bed early tonight!

Another first in our lives is that we now own a  rifle.  We are hoping that will continue to keep our freezer stocked for many years to come!

Speaking of stocking the freezer, I have only watered our garden once since getting it planted in the mud three weeks ago!  We keep getting hail along with the rain and I am hoping that I have a good harvest by the end of the season.  I am still learning to adapt to life in Montana.

Our camp director told us that the first few years they lived in Montana that it went from Fall to Winter to Fall to Winter - no spring, no summer! AHHHHUUUGGGHHH!

I miss the HEAT, baby!

We do have a few wildflowers blooming, but I can't imagine what our garden would look like here... I miss watching things grow.
