Hubby and I are in the middle of some "stuff" as I call it.
Without giving too many details, lest I potentially put some other "stuff" in jeopardy... we are faced with some HUGE decisions coming up. Yes, again.
I am feeling just a little bit crazy about all of it.
Are you ever faced with two equally good choices, but you feel like one has just GOT to be better than the other? Maybe if I write out ONE more pros/cons list... the choice will be more clear. Maybe if I research our choices a LITTLE bit harder... Maybe if I make a few more phone calls... maybe if I seek more wise counsel... maybe if I beg God to clarify my choices... maybe, maybe, maybe if....
The not-so-funny part is that my poor hubby has a different "I am absolutely sure this is the answer" decision every day. Today is different than yesterday which was new from the day before.
I know this sounds vague... but please, if you have a moment, just pray for our wisdom and clarity in this big decision making process.
I am praying for you, my husband and I have faced situations for the last 5 years dealing with which therapies are best for our son. (and lots of other stuff).
I am praying that you all will have wisdom and clarity and then peace about the decision.
Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm the researcher here, and sometimes it's just not that cut and dried for decision-making.
I'll pray that it all settles soon...and that God makes it clear. I always try to remember that our God is not a God of confusion...but it doesn't always help.
1. I deleted 99.9% of my emails
2. I can't even remember if I responded to your last email!
Either way, I've been praying!
Also, I tagged you. I usually don't tag people, but I did this time. :) Check out my blog, if you're interested, and let me know if you decide to do it.
We are trying to decide to sell the house and pay off my husband's enormous college loan, getting out of debt completely, or continuing to struggle each day in a place we love and call home. I will pray with you regarding your big decision.
Thankfully we can "Be of good courage and He-God- will strengthen our hearts! We find as we get older, and wiser from the previous errors and decisions that it is wiser to get help from God. If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God (James 1) and the Lord does help direct our thoughts and even brings to mind wiser people who can give a perspective and God also told us that in a multitude of counsellors there is safety! Those counsellors being Godly and full of the Word of God. Thankfully we don't make all the mistakes in life! We are more cautious now and do much more inquiry about matters we have to attend to. The walk by faith is actually wonderful because God can also turn events around to our good though we felt we may have chosen a wrong decision! The future is as bright as the promises of God!!
It's been a while since I checked in on you - I haven't been doing much blogging this Spring. I pray that "things" are becoming more clear for you now as you have been praying, continue to pray, and wait on God for His direction. Big decisions are tough, and as husband and wife we MUST be in one accord. For that matter, it is important to see eye to eye on the little things too. God is with you - He will answer.
"Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice." Psalm 55:17
Trying not to take situations too seriously, living each day for the Lord, trying to figure out how to do this homeschool mom thing!
If you have trouble reading my page, try expanding this screen to "full screen". Sorry for the inconvenience... I am working on figuring out how to fix it!
You and dogs definitely have a lot in common.
You're both goofy, happy, and content with the small things in life.
However, you're definitely not as needy as the average dog. You need your down time occasionally.
At your darkest moments, you feel guilty.
At work and school, you do best when you're researching.
When you love someone, you tend to agree with them often.
In friendship, you are considerate and compromising.
Your ideal careers are: business, research, counseling, promotion, and speaking.
You will leave your mark on the world with discoveries, new information, and teaching people to dream.

I am praying that you all will have wisdom and clarity and then peace about the decision.
