My Writing Strands Assignment

The Wild Pinto

My family and I took a trip to the Grand Canyon and I saw a fierce animal.  I saw a 10 year old wild Pinto horse rearing on its hind legs.  It was a brown Pinto with white socks and a white face.  The stallion was fighting a mountain lion to protect his herd.  My dad said that he was a powerful horse.  He fought below the Grand Canyon and he was victorious.

The Explorium

Yesterday we went to the Explorium.  We had lots of fun.  Our cousin came with us too so it made it much more fun.  Here are some pictures.

It looks like Lil had lots of fun riding on the horse.  And I think Monkey had fun playing in the water.  I had fun pedaling on the big bike, even though I could barely reach the pedals  .

A New Toy

The past two days my sister, Monkey, and I decided to make a toy car for these little baby dolls that Monkey got at a baby shower.  Here are some pictures of the car after we finished it.

This is the door of the car.

These are the babies in the car.  One is driving, the other is sleeping.

This is the refrigerator. There is toy food in it.  Basically all it does is get dragged around town.

Here is a closer picture of the baby that is driving and the baby that is sleeping.

The wheel broke off!  It looks like my sister pulled it off in this picture.  She was surprised.

Here is Monkey again.  This time she is sad that the wheel broke off.

Here is a picture of the broken car.  The babies were inside of the car when it tipped over.

I decided to put a picture of toothpaste on the back of the car.  The babies are toothpaste fans.   Oh, and my sister, Monkey, helped too.

Hiking With My Family

Yesterday we went to Salato and we went on a hike.  I had fun.  We saw raccoon tracks in a creek bed.  That was cool!  Here is a picture of one.

Here are some pictures of my family on the hike.

This is me wearing my grapevine crown my Dad made me.

This is my sister, Monkey, wearing her grapevine crown that my Dad made for her.

This is my youngest sister, Lil.  I don’t know what she was doing.

This is all of us on the bridge where we saw the raccoon tracks.

Why I like homeschooling

I like homeschooling because I’m taught what’s right and not what’s wrong.  I get to spend time with my mom and my sisters.  The last thing I like is that my mom is there to help me whenever I get confused on something.
