Jul. 22, 2008 - Busy, Busy, and Busier
Hi! I'm back!! We have been soooooooooooooo busy lately... one thing after another! Here's a rundown on what's been happening:
First of all, the Kununurra Agricultural Show was on a couple of weeks ago and I was FLAT OUT preparing for that. I entered in twenty-one things and came out with thirteen prizes - my best so far. The day after the show (Sunday), A speaker from Creation Ministries International and his wife came and spoke at our church. He had some great things to say about how evolution is affecting the very core of our society. The next day heralded the start of a VBS run by our church which our family was very involved in. The VBS went on for the rest of the week (except Wednesday) and we were all really tired by the end of it! But that wasn't the end, The Sunday after VBS finished, my now five year old brother, Zac, went and had a birthday! Since Aaron, my now three year old brother, had a birthday the next day, we had a joint party on the Sunday, which I was organising. Aaron's birthday was Yesterday, and now we're right back into school! And those two weeks were supposed to be the school holidays! Hope your last little while has been a little more restful!
PS - I finally managed to get the photos on my last two entries to work! Check them out!

HOW ON EARTH DID I MISS THOSE ADORABLE CLOWN'S BIRTHDAY'S?!?! Hope they had a great day! According to you're mother's blog, you've been doing a whole lot of organizing - there might be some hope for you yet!! :P
Honestly, you did a great job at GSF - you are a natural - I admire you for keeping a clear head in ALL matters; you have an amazing amount of sensible sense that I wish I had! Remember the tent on my 13th birthday...
Never alone.
Love ya!

I looked at those links on your lastest blog. You know, we just did a big essay on the scientific views on the beginning of the universe. The big bang theory is the most supported, but the biggest issue with that is HOW DID IT EXIST? How did nothing suddenly burst into hydrogen? And how did hydrogen for everything else? (Apparently we came from a star!) Anyway, if I was much more scientific, I would support the steady state modle/theory.
But the beginning of the world doesn't interest me. I'm more interested in whats happening now. Did you know that the government spends millions of dollars to research how the world was created? What a waste of money, just to satisfy curiosity. One answer rises more questions. And what about human suffering? I see it like this: Say you had some money, and you could either buy life saving medication for you fatally ill family, or say you needed to buy food for your starving family, and you suddenly saw a book. And you wanted to read that book so badly, your curiosity would eat away at you mentally until you had either read the book or gone mad with curiosity. But you only had enough money for either what your family needed, or what you wanted. What would you choose? The Government chose, and is still choosing, the book. Because somehow their curiosity is more important than the well being of others.
That's just how I look at it.
I won't bore you any longer with my obsessive raving on the subject.

P.S. sorry for not posting this on the other one, but I was too lazy to click back!
