Sep. 3, 2008 - Update!
A few days ago, I looked at my blog and was horrified to find that the last blog entry I wrote was over a month ago! It's time for a new one.
The weekend before last was the KNX (that's short for Kununurra) Homeschoolers' annual homeschool camp. A bit of a mouthful I know, but lots of fun! :) The theme for the weekend was 'Pioneers'. Particularly the pioneers of the Kimberly region (that's where we live). My favourite activity was making a bed out of bamboo (a substitute for native saplings), rope and hessian bags. In the process of making it, we (I put 'we' but I really mean the boys) discovered that girls (or at least the ones in our group) are better at tying knots than boys. GIRL POWER!!!!

Just for the record.... Jakeonmars tied all the knots, I just looked on and held the poles. Not to mention that you had a much larger group from which to choose a good knot-tier, the boys were only Jakeonmars and Me. So not a fair test.

I know your sick of hearing from me by now, but yeah, I was just wondering...
Do you actually need to be homeschooled to get a homeschoolblogger.com blog, or is that just a title? Is there a rule or law, or is it open to anyone? Just out of curiosity...
