so yesterday I had the weirdest/funniest/most demented day and I totally should have seen that coming! because few years ago there was this guy I had met at a homeschooling conference and we didn’t see eye to eye and he wrote me this terrible note which for some reason unbeknownst to me is still in my notebook. my dad had me write down his name because he said he lived near me and my dad wanted to speak to him. thankfully I never saw this impertinent dude again….or so I thought.
then yesterday I was on F.B. and had just gotten done writing something on her wall when I happened to look over at her friends list (if you know anything about facebook you will know that when you are on someone’s wall there is a list of friends with their photos underneath their names) and saw my mom’s picture I thought to myself “that is a really cute picture” I then happened to look at the photo next to hers and thought “hmm that guy looks familiar” then I looked at his name and was in total shock: it was the same dude!!!!!!!!!! it then clicked that he was the dude she had been telling me about that had been hanging out with her lately. I then recalled the irony of a statement I had made one day proclaiming my interest in meeting this person to see if he was suitable.

later that night I recounted the story to Panda over F.B. and the phone, she also went into shock.
what is so interesting is the dudes that like her are always my acre nemeses and the guys that liked me thought that she was semi-odd.
I’ll have to remember the next time I take a stand against someone to give her a list of names so this doesn’t happen again!! looking back it really is funny but it’s still kinda weird….
but yeah that’s about it…there is more but I don’t think I want to write all that.

thanks for reading,
Margo

Hello,
the other day someone left an anonymous comment on my blog concerning the 4th of July,
I am guessing that they forgot to leave their name so if the person who wrote that would kindly leave their name that would be wonderful.
I am requesting this because there has been a misunderstanding and I would hate for someone to get in trouble unintentionally. so if the afore mentioned person would be so kind as to leave your name in a comment or private message that would be most sincerely appreciated!

Hi, there seems to be too much going right now to explain everything so I’ll stick to the simple.
The hedge of lilacs in my backyard bloomed and that made me very happy because it reminded me of last June and the better times I had with a friend, and the very good times I had with the rest of my friends.

Our apple trees are in bloom also, which reminded me of walking through the rain by myself and how nice that is.

And thinking on these flowers that I like so much I was reminded of my sunflowers that I grew when I was younger and how the ones I grew last year were taller than I was.

well I think that is all……..if you want to leave me a comment telling me what your favorite flowers are that’d be nice.

Hello everyone! again I appologize for not writing sooner! so a lot has happened…………..we are gonna skip that part and go straight to this last weekend. I went skating with my homeschool group. we had my dad’s birthday. I had my Birthday……I am sooo old. My dad let me hold the steering wheel while going 70mph!!! that sounds dumb but it was fun. OH I got a Tim Hawkins video from my family so now my family quotes it all the time. Monday my brother graduated from Cub Scouts, with honnors! Tuesday was homeschool group, not much happened there, we watched a cool movie. last night we had the A.w.a.n.a. Grande Prix! and my youngest brother got 4th place in speed!!!!!!!!! and today we went to a gym and art class. that was my week. and Now I can tell you about something I couldn’t before! in January my parents made a deal with me; if I could get my friend to help me clean my room and if I could keep it clean until my birthday I could get contact lences!! so January 24th I think, my friend came over and we cleaned until 2:30 am! we didn’t go to bed until 3 and didn’t fall asleep until 4!! then we got up at 8 because we couldn’t sleep any more and ate breakfast, messed around with the piano and then finished organising things for 3 more hours. we cleaned a total of 12 hours!!!!!!!!! not only did we clean we organized under my bed and my closet and my dresser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we also rearanged my funiture!!!! and I did keep it clean for 33 days then I got my contacts and it is still clean!!! and the weird thing is it used to not bug me if there was a pile of clothes in the corner, but now I HAVE to clean up if a sock or two is on the floor! so yeah, those are some of the highlights since I have last posted. thanks for your patience! Margo

Hi!!!

sorry I haven’t had time to post lately and right now I don’t really have time for a complete entry either but I will attempt to put something up here so……..I will write post about New year’s later but for now I thought you might want to try one of the things we do in quizzing!!!!

every week we each take a turn in making a test which is basically the chapter typed out and then blanks added. if you want to try and test your knowledge of Luke chapter 13 I have provided the test below, if you want to take it then just copy it and paste it in a word document then print and fill in the blanks or do it on your computer! sorry it is in the NIV version as that is official for quizzing. Have fun!! and leave me a comment telling me if you did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

Luke 13

1Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

2Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they ____________this way?

3I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

4Or those _____________ who died when the tower in __________ fell on them—do you think they were more _________ than all the others living in Jerusalem?

5I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

6Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any.
7So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8" ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and ____________ it.
9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’ "

10On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,
11and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not ____________ up at all.
12When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your _____________."
13Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she ______________ up and praised God.

14__________________ because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the people, "There are _______ days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."

15The Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! _________ each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the ______ and lead it out to give it water?
16Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"

17When he said this, all his ______________ were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

18Then Jesus asked, "What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?
19It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air ___________ in its ______________."

20Again he asked, "What shall I compare the kingdom of God to?
21It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of _________ until it worked all through the __________."

22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem.
23Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?"

He said to them, 24"Make every _________to enter through the ___________ door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
25Once the owner of the house gets up and _________ the door, you will stand outside ____________ and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’
"But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’

26"Then you will say, ‘We ate and _________ with you, and you taught in our streets.’

27"But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’

28"There will be weeping there, and ______________of _________, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.
29People will come from ________ and west and _______ and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.
30Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last."

31At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, "Leave this place and go __________________ else. Herod wants to kill you."

32He replied, "Go tell that _______, ‘I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will _________ my _________.’
33In any ________, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!

34"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a _____ ____________ her _________ under her _________, but you were not willing!
35Look, your house is left to you _____________. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the ____________.’"
