A Different Perspective

Hey! Just I'd write something.
I am going with my church in about a week to a competition in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is for The Fine Arts Festival 2007 National Competition. We have a puppet team that made it and will be competing which my sister and friends are on and a Female Vocal Soloist. I didn't make it to the national competition with Group Sign Language which is what I competed with at districts, but I am going to Indy to support my church. I am so excited!
Anyway, I don't know what it is, but I really really miss my grandmother who lives in Texas. I spent my first 4 years with her almost all the time. She loved taking me to the zoo and of course at 4 I loved going. Whenever I go there to visit we go to the same zoo and she cries. I love her so much and I have so many memories with her even though I was really little I remember everything very vividly. I only get to see her about once a year now and I don't think I'll see her this year because she doesn't have any money to come and my parents can't afford to send me and my sister to Texas.
She is like the coolest grandma ever. She's my moms mom and she's younger than my dad! lol she's 55ish and my dad's almost 56. My mom's almost 36. they are 20 years and 1 month apart exactly. We call my grandma Grandmonkey because when I was little we were at the zoo and I was just learning my animals so I pointed at the monkeys and said monkey then I pointed at her and said monkey grandmonkey. lol I also named her husband my grandpa pops. I don't know why, I think we were eating popcorn or something. lol Grandmonkey can tell Cinderella backwards and it's called Rindecella. Se also sings Dudrolf the dead nose dain rear. lol My friends all love her. She not even embarrassing(except when we're in the car and we drive by older men and she sticks her head out the window and barks at them really loud. lol). |
