I have been listening to this internet playlist for several months. Thought I'd share the address.
I have requested a button to put on my side bar.
We don't have a conservative local station I can tune into so this has been so nice!
We have noticed that it's so important to keep an atmosphere of calm praise and this music is often what I turn to each day.
Hope others enjoy commercial free conservative music as well. |

Leonard Bernstein's - Young People's Concerts Series - VHS tapes with introduction to Orchestral Music
( We listen to a few tapes a week )
When younger we listened to Baby Einstine and other like vids daily.
We also have the Cedarmont Kids Songs vhs series
Been praying about song- Asking why have I lost mine over the years? Getting answers:^)
Hope to lead the children more in this area!
We listen to Abiding Radio- streaming music via internet - regularly SO I do hum the hymns more.
We keep it simple Classical, Orchestral, Traditional Hymns, Folk Songs, and Children's Song.
No big intro to instruments as of yet other than a few rhythm band instruments and an inexpensive uke.
I read to them children's literature focusing on music themes...
Geraldine, the Music Mouse by Leo Lionni was quite good - about music being inside us and when we discover it we always will have it with us!
Moses goes to a concert by Isaac Millman showed us that people that are deaf can enjoy music as well as perform it!
Daddy just found a keyboard that was affordable so we can ALL learn basic music reading and playing. After we progress I will see if the children have an instrument that they individually take to.
I have always wanted to learn piano! So though I was reluctant to spend any money on this I am very excited!!! |
