Our blog sort of got lost (really, it was lost in the sale & I was too sick to find it) in the scuffle of our cross-country move and the upturn in the children’s lives even I did not expect. Most people know better than to make a move, any move with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) child, but sometimes things just have to be done. I’m warning you though, even all your careful planning and preparation means NOTHING to the child and you really ARE NOT prepared for what’s to come. Just an FYI to all my reader friends that might be considering a similar *move*. Cross-town was doable with certain measures. Cross-country, I would probably NOT do again if presented the same choice and same situation. Although; we might need to do it again for our Aspie’s sake when he readies for college, as he most likely will NEED home support. We’ll see about that when the time comes. Ado on this subject.
