Why I love Phil Mickelson...
Phil Mickelson, winner of golf's Masters Tournament this year and in 2004, announced for the second consecutive year that he will play this year's PGA Tour season on behalf of Homes For Our Troops. Mickelson is donating $100 for each birdie and $500 for each eagle he makes during the tour season through his "Birdies for the Brave" fundraising effort. To read more click here....

That is very cool! Isn't it great when people do such heart-warming things?
Sammy Joe is we think about 4 or 5 years old. We actually rescued him from the Humane Society. You should have seen him! He was a mess!! He hadn't been brushed at all and had HUGE matts of hair just hanging on his body. He also had an infected cut above his ear that no one told me about. When I took him to the Vet, she was concerned with the huge matt around his ear that looked odd. When she cut the hair away, there was this cut that had infected stitches. Poor baby!! He has been a wonderful dog and he was a bit strange when we first brought him home (is it any wonder?) but has turned out to be a very loyal and smart dog. I KNOW he would protect any of us with his life. He's my baby!! I didn't know you had a dog like him. They are so neat! I never knew anything about Cockers, but I would definitely get another one in a minute! How about a picture of your Cocker on your blog? That would be very cool! Our's loves to have his hair cut really short - in fact, he will pull his hair out if it starts getting too long. Go figure!
Did you get my emails? Thanks for your help on my questions!! God Bless!!
