Prayers from Presidential Prayer Team

Pray for the President as he leads the nation on key issues, particularly immigration reform and the protection of marriage. Pray for wisdom for him and for Senate leaders as they consider these issues. Pray also that the debate will be conducted with respect for the dignity of all persons, as the President has requested.

Pray for the President as on 6/8 he welcomes to the White House President Michelle Bachelet of Chile to discuss the shared commitment to advance freedom and democracy and free trade between our nations and on 6/9 as he hosts Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen at Camp David when he will thank him for Denmark’s partnership in advancing freedom and democracy.

As new terror threats have arisen in Canada with the uncovering of a plot to harm the Prime Minister and members of Parliament, pray for Homeland Security Director Chertoff, CIA Director Hayden, FBI Director Mueller and all who work fighting the war on terror. Pray against those who plot evil, and pray for God’s protection to be upon our President, our leaders and our nation. Pray also for the protection of all of America’s allies, that terror will not gain the upper hand in any part of the world.

As the nation of Iran expresses openness to negotiations on their uranium enrichment program, pray for continued progress on this important issue

Pray for the President and National Guard troops he has now summoned to support Border Patrol in order to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

As our troops continue to serve freedom and humanity around the world, pray for the success of their efforts and for the protection of all personnel. Pray that the strength and help of God will abide with each one, and pray that their families will be comforted, encouraged and provided for as they sacrifice for our nation. Pray particularly for those now dispatched to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, that together with Border Patrol agents, they will be effective in carrying out the securing of our borders.
