Why didn't I believe you? My week has been so deep and tricky, that I thought I was hardened to this struggle. Alas, I was so very wrong. My husband has been training in Mississippi since April 22nd. He comes home for a week June 30th, then ships with the rest of the 86 Maine Army National Guardsmen for Iraq for a year. It was an unexpected call-up with him being in a undeployable unit, and it is all happening so fast. He hadn't been active duty since 1998...
I need the reassurances daily. I don't find them just everywhere, so I really need to check in here more often..........
