Hug A Hero Dolls

H/T to Janet

Check out this awesome item for kiddoes while Daddy or Mom is deployed. Then read Janet's personal story about her son's doll.

They offer dolls, pillowcases, dog tags, puzzles, and photo pillows all with your loved one's image on it!

"Daddy Dolls, Inc. was started by two military wives who created "Daddy Dolls™" for their own children during their husbands' deployments. After witnessing the therapeutic benefit of the dolls, they soon realized their dolls could help any child missing a loved one. This led to the creation of Hug-A-Hero™ dolls which are now being enjoyed by military and non-military children alike. "

I wish *I* had one of these during our last deployment!

for the link to me! Yes, these ladies are completely awesome and I can't tell you what DS's Daddy Doll has meant to him. He goes with us everywhere and he sure is more mobile than a "Flat Daddy." ;-) And he gets lots of hugs and kisses. I sure wish I had known about these in time to get DH to record something on the little voice recorder that fits into the back pocket. But, DS has a Celtic cross exactly like the one Daddy wears on his dog tags in his Daddy Doll pocket.
Many blessings and lots of love and {{hugs}}
Janet
