Let's Roast Marshmallows

Cute kid quote of the day…during our “play” this evening, the kids were acting out the story of God calling Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac and then at the last minute, God provides a ram stuck in the the thicket.  David played the part of “Abraham”, Julia was the “ram” and Joshua was “Isaac”.  The play was fairly uneventful, then at the end, when the “ram” was laid on the altar and Abraham “slayed” it and set it on fire, Joshua said, “They could roast marshmallows on it” …Never a dull moment!!!
