Dec. 8, 2005 - It's beginning to look a lot like
a huge winter storm is going to hit us tonight and ruin my plans for tomorrow. It reminds me how not in control I am! I'm a planner, and every once in awhile God throws a monkey wrench in what I had planned.
We were going to travel to Rockville to get the rest of the kiddles tested for Celiac. I was diagnosed two months ago, Pete was tested last week and the other three were supposed to go get the blood test done tomorrow. It between 1 1/2 to two hours depending on Maryland traffic to get there. No body here in Wv even knows where to send the bloodtest to, much less if insurance will cover it!
We were also going to get our Christmas tree, our first live tree in six years. Saturday was go grocery shopping, decorate outside, and then Sunday was Church, dinner with family, and The Lion the Witch, and the Wardrobe with the big kids that afternoon.
Hopefully, we'll manage some of it.

A fellow celiac! It is so nice to meet you. We live in Hagerstown...so we must be close if you are talking about Rockville!!
My son has Asperger's and is also on a chemical, gluten free diet and is now off his meds. I am going to add you to my friends list and I hope that cake turns out for you!
