"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD
require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to
walk humbly with thy God?"

My Mom has COPD. Unfortunately when she was first diagnosed she did not quit smoking, My brother and I wonder if she was in some form of denial.
The disease has progressed and in the last month or so has really taken hold. She has been in the hospital for most of March so far and a week just in February.
This last hospitalization I wondered if she would even be going home
Because her health was so precarious and I wanted to keep friends and relatives updated I started a Caring Bridge site for her. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lanawhitson
There are few Christians in my extended family so I sent a plea out to my children, their friends, our homeschool group and church to ask them to pray for Mom. Her recovery is nothing short of miraculous. She is doing so much better and I just PRAISE the Lord for His hand on my Mom.
A homeschooling mom of 6 delightful blessings looking for her place in this immense world wide web to share, to fit in and to place random thoughts.
Trying to persevere in homeschooling and will use this blog to seek encouragement and wisdom to then pass on to you.
Psalm 37:23-24 (New King James Version)
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
And He delights in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the LORD upholds him with His hand
