Things are about ready....
|
Yes, if baby came today, we'd be ready.
Every room in the house has been deep cleaned 1x and decluttered. The baby's room is ready. The clothes and diapers are washed and ready to go. The car seat/ stroller are put together.
I have about a dozen frozen crock pot meals in the freezer ready to go. That has been so nice!! I love my crock pot. I love having dinner done by 8am!! I made double batches each morning, froze one and ate one. WONDERFUL!!! I still would like to get some breakfast items made and frozen.
Zachary finished his Horizon Math K book... so yesterday was our 12 scoop SUNDAE!!! WOW!!! We all loved it! I think we may have another when Joshua finishes all his Rod and Staff PreK books (around the end of January)!!
Yesterday was our weekly OB appointment and ULTRA SOUND. Yes, I am measuring ahead (according to THEIR DATES...). So we were sent for another ultra sounds. I wont know the results for 2 weeks. If they would just go with MY date I would be on schedule...but no.... they "have to go with what the 20 wk ulrasound said." So what ever... baby will come when he is ready (that is what we are hoping, no induction this time). He is weighing about 4lbs 8 oz. Not sure what that really means at 33wks (dr date) 35 wk (my date). I do have big babies so that is no surprise. (Zachary was 10.8 and Joshua was 9.11).
But in the last 24 hours I have felt a real energy LOSS and a BIG HEAT increase. I am just CONSTANTLY HOT (even when others are not). I was pretty tired and irratable last evening ..... hoping I can control that for the next few weeks... i was so hot and tired I didn't want to be talked to or touched...just wanted to go to bed!!!!
Well that is our update for now...

Oh yeah. Having a baby this time of year is tough. My baby was born in July! But you sound like you have it all together and are just counting off the days til he or she gets here. I am hoping that although you have big babies, you will have a smooth delivery. What Joy!

Wowzers, talk about nesting!!! That is GREAT!
My little Tank was born at 35 weeks. He weighed 6lbs 3oz. I have no idea where they get the ultrasound weights from...they never seem that accurate. Anyhow, I think YOUR date is the one you should use. That little wheel or whatnot that the dr uses is not exactly the most accurate tool around.

Oh boy, I wanna be like you! Every room deep cleaned and decluttered?!? That is one of my dreams that I am working on. After 9 years of marriage though, the decluttering can be exhausting.
When you get a chance and you aren't quite so tired, could you share some of those crockpot meal recipes? I also love having dinner done but 8am but meat and potatoes is about all I do in the crockpot.
I am praying for a healthy delivery.

I had to respond to your comment....
I love Ezzo and yes, I am definitely a Babywise schedule gal! I have done it with all 3 (a little late on the first) and have seen wonderful results. All three have been exclusively bf. So don't believe the "it's harder with bf babies" thing. It's not harder just different.
Right now baby is on a 5 - 7:30 - 10:30 - 1:30 - 4:30 - 7:30 schedule. He sleeps from 8:30 until I wake him at 5. I decided to wake him at 5 so that i won't have my quiettime/shower interupted. He goes right back down and sleeps till I wake everyone at 7:30 for breakfast.
I am no expert, but if you have any bf questions feel free to email. :)

I hope you have good news to tell! If so I am sure you're busy, busy. Let us know when you can and may the Lord bless.
