Menu for Hard Time- Prep day

Here is the prep work before starting the Menu for Hard Times $20-30 Well I went grocery shopping and spent............$55.33!! (my pics never look as nice as others who show off their "deals"...oh well)
Well I must first say as you can see in the picture I did purchase a few "extras" including:
cheese $2
yogurt $2.79
ice cream pops 2.00 (how did they get there?? they were a nice treat on the drive home)
FRESH broccoli (vs. the frozen) 1.99
applesauce x2 = 1.78
Toilet Paper .89
Pancake syrup 1.29 (can't wait to get the REAL stuff in 2weeks)
Antacid 1.99
banannas 1.46
peanut butter 1.39 (not what I wanted--but it fit the budget)
chesse 1.89
jelly 1.29

TOTAL $20.76
Plus a few of her "givens" or pantry items or homestead items I had to purchase:
brown rice 3.25
eggs- 2 doz- $2.
Honey $3.49
milk 2 gall= $7.44

TOTAL: 16.18
So according to what SHE told us to buy I only spent $18.39
So I came home did up the dishes had cereal for breakfast!! And I got out the bread machine--and before I go to bed I need to prep by soaking the beans... and when I wake up and start my coffee- I'll start my bread.
We'll see how this goes-- I'm very excited and a bit anxious!!
