I am EXHAUSTED!!!! Whewww--- I figured today was as good of a day as any to hit the BABY ROOM!!! Especially with the BOXES of girl clothes we were given this weekend. Well WHAT A TASK!! I sorted thru the clothes and found I am really set for 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 2T, 3T!! But Where do I put so many clothes??? Well after doing some sorting and washing-- I headed out to get some PLASTIC TOTES....and began packing things up... WHEWWW-- (** I saw some space saver bags-- they are a bit pricey..but no more than the totes-- anyone have any experience with those?-- I decided to stick with what I KNOW for today-- but I am curious---) So then what? Well the only place we can store em' is the basement---but they MUST be in totes because we do get water (not a lot--but enough to ruin cardboard boxes) and we do get snakes--- so I then had to go down there and re-arrange and sort--- (have I ever told you how much I HATE my basement??)...but alas-- the FINAL project: (all labeled with duct tape and marker on top and side for easy viewing -- I do make a note card with all totes and what's in em' (size/gender) so I can grab easily): And the final project upstais in the BABY ROOM: It will be much less cluttered when baby arrives and the car seat and double stroller are loaded in the car, and when the swing and bouncy seat is brought down stairs--- But-- oh yeah-- with a girl-- some things MUST be hung up---and we have NO closets in this house--so this little hang-er thing will have to work for right now... After doing all the washing and hanging and folding-- I realized--already-- I am not sure what exact hat, under pants, bib go with each outfit!! What a mess--I'm not sure how you are supposed to keep all those things together ---I am not used to all these "accessories" I wasn't planning on buying new bedding--I was going to use the Tan/ Noahs' ark items I used for the boys-- thinking it was gender neutral enough (see above pic..with cribs)...but we were also given some bedding---- PINK BEDDING!! (doesn't really match any of the walling hangings and things-- that are Noahs's ark..but it's pink- I did get to go get a quick harvest of tomatoes today-- WOW!! All that just since Saturday! I won't show you a picture of my kitchen after a day like today-- (focusing on the babys room, basement and LAUNDRY)....but tomorrow will look a lot like this-- WORKING TOGETHER: (this was taken a little while ago-- Zachary is showing Joshua how to clean the dinning/school room....so he can move on to other tasks--passing the "torch")-- Stephen is even watching closely!!
Well I am off to bed----- I must say my new book arrival-- Teaching the Trivium--is pretty heavy for bedtime reading-- I may have to find something else for before bed--- But I am very much enjoying reading the Trivium-- I have REALLY like this article and do use it as the backbone of our school days---
