So-- not to shabby--  Tomorrow will be a playground day for our co-op and then I need to put up some tomatoes!!

I am very excited about hubby fixing my kitchen floor!! While in the basement the other day I founds some extra "tile" that he will be laying tomorrow!!  (hopefully)

I never showed a picture of my "holey" floor-- I just kept it covered with an ol' fashioned rug.... but it will be nice to have it FIXED!!

I did buy two new "rugs" for the kitchen today-- they were on sale-- and couldn't pass em' up--

Hubby looked at me and said "nesting, huh?"  I love that man!!
Wanna see how I got so much done today?
I have GREAT helpers!! (making sandwiches for dinner--for themselves--and they made a few for tomorrow's play date too)
And today Joshua started his new job of vacuming the dinning room...he did well!
** Did you see the Mouse/Rat glue traps in the above picture (beside the flooring?)....gotta share this "funny" story--  I am NOT a cat person-- never have been a cat person-- however-- a few weeks ago we realized a stray cat had a liter of 5 kittens in our shed-- no big deal-- we decided to let well enough alone-- they'd help out if nothing else--  WRONG-- The cat and liter or babies showed about about 2 weeks ago and over the weekend (when the boys over fed the chicken feeder) a GROUP of MICE took up lodging in our chicken house!!!!!   Jason has seen the cat carring dead mice in her mouth-- walking up the drive way-- but why she just wont walk 50 ft and get the mice in the chicken house is BEYOND ME!!    See-- a cat-- not even worth their keep!!  Who KNOWS where she is getting the mice she is-- but  it has come down to us taking matters into our own hands---because I CAN NOT STAND MICE!!!!  EWWWWWWW
