Road Trip

The kids & I are going to Macon, GA tomorrow.  We need to check on our house & I am craving a little solitude.  No phones, computers, TV, just peace and quiet.  We will visit with a few friends, take nature walks, nature study, read in front of the fire, snuggle, do school work.  I am bringing my vita-mix & dehydrator so we can experiment in the kitchen w/ some yummy raw recipes and I am hoping to catch up on some personal reading.  This is my plan anyway, we will see how it goes.  Eric will meet us on Fiday & spend the weekend with us, he has business in Montgomery this week which is halfway between here & Macon.  And then as an added bonus, on our way home we will meet up w/ my sister near Atlanta & she will follow us home.  A week w/ the cousins!!!!!  Yeah!!!  My kids are estatic!  I'm a little psyched also!  We miss them soooooo much!  So I need to run as we pack the car & finish our last minute errands before we head out in the morning.  I am hoping to be able to stop at one of the great, healthier grocery stores in Atlanta, (it used to be called Harry's, I'm not sure if it still is or not) on our way into Macon to pick up food for the week.  I'll look it up in a few minutes to mapquest.  Talk to everyone in a week.
