I rushed around our dear capital city today.

I got news yesterday that I needed to get background checks on my 11 and 13 year old children...Ummmm...OK?!?!

I reached our social services office shortly before noon. They got me in and we not acting if this could be done today. I guess I kinda lost it - I cried and told how these papers were the only thing between my children coming home and them not being with me for Christmas - these can take between 2 and 6 weeks and I want my children home yesterday! I would guess the lady must have felt sorry for me. I had my paperwork in 15 minutes....

KBI was another story - They could take my papers, do them today, but couldn't give them back to me to give our SWer. They have to send them out to our SWer, your tax dollars hard at work! I could have saved us almost 40 cents  Anywooo.... They were going to try and get it out in the 2 pm mail  If it went out our SWer will get it tomorrow.  We could - MAYBE - get our paperwork out to TX by next week.....

I'm glad that they were able to hurry the system along when they saw how important it was to you. Praying the other paperwork is likewise sped along by the Lord!!!

God is working in this, usually even tears can't get a job done fast! I am still praying that it all moves quickly and your Christmas is full!
