"For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." - Colossians 3:3-4

a beautiful evening.

hollyhock seeds.

the black-eyed-susans in our garden.

a cicada still in its shell, climbing up our oak tree.

the heavens are telling the glory of God

Yesterday afternoon we were blessed with a free air show of cumulus clouds and brilliantly blue skies. Emily took this photo of the eastern horizon. I'm glad our Granny called to tell us to look outside, or we may have missed it. Ahh, its good to have back our Indiana skies.

That evening there was a splendid sunset, complete with racing clouds, stormy winds, and the radiance of a sparkling moon.
Something about this last picture I took makes me feel so happy and sad at the same time. Maybe its the lonely moon, or the poignantly deep sky.

"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend unto heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I make my bed in the remotest part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me." -Psalm 139:7-10

This photo of my father and I was taken last week by my sister Emily Rose. It almost looks like we're getting married. Isn't my dad so handsome? I love him soooo much!
I am entering it into Jocelyn's Family Photo Contest just for fun. If you wish to enter for a chance to win a subscription to The Old Schoolhouse magazine, you had better hurry! The contest ends today, March 1st!
