"Eyes" for Him!

"Eyes" for Him!

Tuesday, September 26, 2006 - Four Seasons

Here is another poem by Elisabeth:

       Four Seasons

Spring is like a blue-eyed maiden,

Golden hair with flowers laden,

That tiptoes softly on the breeze,

Wishing all the world to please.

Summer, a season of golden dreams,

Raining dew upon green leaves;

The sun, he reigns in all his glory,

With all the stars around him soaring.

Fall, a time of wind and bluster,

With all the strength that it can muster,

Calming into sunny days,

Indian summer in all its ways.

Winter , of which Jack Frost is king;

Christmas pudding and other things;

Snowmen, and snowballs flying high,

But never quite touching the sky.

Spring, summer, fall, and winter;

These are the seasons four;

And I must say that this is the end,

For you see, there are no more.
