We want to welcome you to our Valentine’s Day Skate at the Raleigh IcePlex!
When: Tuesday, February 8th and 22nd.
Time: 9:30am – 3pm 5.5 hours of skating for only $3 !!
FREE SKATE RENTAL
THE BIG SKATES ARE NOW THE 2ND AND 4TH TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH!
However, we are there every Tuesday from 9:30 – 3 for only $3.
Fun and games on the ice & door prizes.
Wear the color red!
If you don’t skate, you don’t have to pay to enter!
The lobby is kept at a comfortable 70 degrees and we have free Wifi.

We’re the only Homeschool Skate School in the area that is run by a homeschool mom with over 11 years experience (in homeschooling and skating)!
Tuesdays from 1-2 Starting on 3/1
1) 8, 1/2 hour skating lessons and 8, 1/2 hour practice ice sessions.
2) ALL public sessions, any day and any time, are FREE for all students.(that’ s a deal! Just walk in the door any day or time there is a public session and you skate at no cost!)
3) Teaching tots to adults, all levels!
4) Lessons start Tuesday, March 1st.
ONLY $99 AND SIBLINGS ARE ONLY $80

Open Hearth Cooking Workshops
February 8, 2011 (10am-2pm) and February 15, 2011 (10am-2pm)
Learn the basics of open-hearth cooking and work with period recipes. Participants will prepare a meal and enjoy it together. Ages 10 and up only (all students must be accompanied by one adult- total cost for both is $30).
Everything Bees Workshop
February 24, 2011 (10am-1pm)
Learn about the world of honeybees, why they were important on 19th century farms, and their role in agriculture today. Make a craft, beeswax candles, and beeswax lip balm. For ages 7-12, cost is $15 per student.
Farm Kids Workshop
March 15, 2011 (10am-12pm)
Step back into a 19th century farm as you get up close and personal with the Latta animals, participate in farm chores, learn about life in a cabin, and make a craft. For ages 5-7, cost is $10 per student. Click here for registration form
To Make a Lady Workshop
March 24, 2011 (10am-1pm)
Learn the ins and outs of being a 19th century lady. From etiquette and stitches, to keeping a household, and more! For girls ages 13 and up, cost is $20 per student. <a

Dr. Farris is offering his high school-level Constitutional Law course to help you:
Understand our nations founding documents
Explore precedent-setting Supreme Court cases
Master tough legal terms and complex judicial and legislative concepts
Tackle tough questions about what the Founders really intended and what you can do to uphold their vision
Broaden your understanding of and appreciation for the Constitution of the United States
Students may enroll in either the spring semester (JanuaryJune) or fall semester (SeptemberFebruary) and receive a copy of Dr. Farris textbook Constitutional Law for Enlightened Citizens, along with an audio CD-ROM containing his recorded lectures (supplemented by the discussions of a live class). These lectures are provided in MP3 format for easy playback on multiple audio devices.
Students participate in secure Internet chat sessions hosted by Dr. Farris every other week for live, text-based discussion. They may also post questions to Dr. Farris at any time using our secure Internet forum, which allows all
