Music Lessons and Tutoring

Jonathan Patterson was home schooled through high school with his sister, and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors in Piano Performance from Liberty University.

His mother provided him with opportunities to study art and drawing, woodcarving and woodburning, and drove over an hour to take him to accordion lessons for six years. Jonathan competed on the national level in Accordion, and at age fifteen he was a Certified Master Gardener for Ohio State University.

In college he worked as a tutor in the Undergraduate and Graduate Writing Centers. He and his wife are Christians living in Greensboro, NC, and are eager to begin giving back to the local home school community.
Jonathan is offering weekly Piano and Accordion lessons, and English Writing tutoring, especially in preparation

U.S. Figure Skating Championships been held annually since 1914 and this is the first time the U.S. Championships have been hosted in the Carolinas.

Competition will include approximately 250 skaters in the novice, junior and senior levels. These skaters will compete over the course of eight days to become U.S. champions. Sunday there will be 3 different sessions and Jan. 25-30 will be a Fanfest.

African American Heritage Day Event is FREE

Dancing, jazz, stories and crafts offer excitement and fun at the African American Heritage Day at Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum on Saturday, July 10.
