North Carolina Homeschool "ology"

We need to support Home Education in all possible ways. Homeschooling is a positive experience for the vast majority of those who teach and learn at home and we, as Homeschoolers, are responsible to let people know about this great educational option!
Many people do not know much about Homeschooling because we are so “mainstream”. (this is my theory anyway – feel free to disagree or even refute it!).Most Homeschoolers do not make a “big deal” out of being Homeschoolers! We are just neighbors, friends and c0-workers. We are the kids who play on the community sports teams or kids you see hanging out at the “Y”. We are the young people serving in 4-H Clubs, Boy & Girl Scouts or teaching Sunday School and the families you see when you are shopping at your Walmart store. (hopefully the kids are being good when you spot us!) Quite contrary to what you hear on “The View” or on ABC News, people see us a lot… just not at the PTA meetings.
