Hello everyone,
Sometimes I am so filled with the love of God that I think I will explode and cover everyone within a mile with, well...love! Today was so wonderful for me.
It started out with my daughter Cindi calling me quietly from outside to come and see something. I got up and stood in the door and there on my lawn were about 50 geese and gosslings grazing. It was beautiful. The Mom's and Dad's (about 5 pair) were watching for danger as their babies (three different sizes and ages) were "peeping and nibbling" the grass. I ran back in, got my camera and some muffins and started clicking away and feeding the sweet little darlings. It was wonderful. After about 15 or 20 minutes, they "ducked" (hehe) under the fence and made their way back down the hill side and swam away in our "pond". A few minutes later I had to get a shovel and remove their waste, but it was worth it. They were gorgous!
I then spent the afternoon and into the evening with Bryan and Suzy. We visited, shared and laughed even more than we did yesterday. Bryan is an amazing young man. I know I've said it before, but that young man never fails to surprise me! I'd rather spend time with him than most adults I know. He's respectful, intelligent and funny. He can talk about pretty much most things and is quite smart about computers. He was so patient with me and answered all my questions without making me feel so dumb. I'm not that computer savvy, but he is and isn't afraid to share his knowledge! Thanks again Bryan for the great day. You and your mom are just AWESOME!!!!
We've had our share of drama around here lately, but Kent took the bull by the horns, settled things and it's been so peaceful, quiet and positive. I don't know what we'd do without our friends. I hope I never have to find out.
Be blessed everyone...life on the porch continues to be wonderful!!! |
