Hello all,

   Well today was another wonderful day here in Cove Circle. Our pond glistened in the sun, the swans, geese and ducks quacked happily, the cats slept contentedly in the shade and I stayed in the RV because it was over 100 degrees and I DO NOT venture outside when it's that hot! :-)

   I'm taking the train up to Klamath Falls at 3:15 am. I have promised two of my 4 grandsons that they can stay the summer with me. Thomas usually stays with us anyway, but this is the first time away from Mommy, so I have no idea how Eric will do. Eric is Thomas' little brother. He's 5 right now. He's ADHD, and  Grandma isn't. I expect that I will be able to lose a few pounds chasing him around. I hope so anyway...last summer I lost 13 lbs. having Thomas. I'm guessing that I could lose about 165 lbs. with Eric. He's a smidge more active than Thomas. Anyone who knows me will by now have realized that I am being as sarcastic as I can be. Eric will have me dead by days end. But, I want to try having him stay with us. I promised him and that's that!

   Tonight we went to church and I invited Suzy and Bryan. I think they had a good time. Suzy is such a great friend AND she's holding me accountable where I need help in my Christian walk. Quite an undertaking, but I think she's up for the challenge. She and Bryan are such encouragements to me. Anyway, the service was nice and the music was wonderful. Afterwards, we had soup and burgers at the restarant where we worship and it, too was good. We had to leave before my brother Ed and I ordered a piece of German Chocolate cake with coconut pecan icing. Ed and I just knew we were getting weak in our vow to be "good" diabetics. So we left, unfullfilled. Not spiritually, German Chocolate Cakelly.

   Well, I must close. I have to do some last minute packing for my trip. Be blessed dear ones. Life on the porch is so, so sweet.
