Hello every. I'm crying twice here because two of my best friends are gone for a few weeks and I miss them already. They left on Thrusday I think and today is Sunday. It's been a pretty long three days. Yesterday we had some awful thunder/lightening storms and rain/hail for hours. I heard today that we had 75 fires going in Shasta and Tehema Counties. So our little bowl of a town is just full of smoke. It covers the sun  and everything is hazy. Plus, those of us with asthma have a hard time breathing. I stay inside a lot so I'm ok. But my grandson Thomas has Bronchial Asthma and forgot his breather. So he's having a bit of trouble. But we're all having fun here and my porch was never so active! Can hardly wait until Suzy and Bryan come home so we can have our late night chats in the cool of the evening, on the porch.

The boys are doing great. Eric has settled right down. We were afraid he'd throw a fit because this is the first time he's been apart from his Mommy. He's having a great time at the pool and eats everything I cook. No question. I figure because it's all new for him...but both boys are doing great. I'm keeping Eric for one more week then Franki and Sean will come down to get him and go to Splash Down for Liam's birthday. Liam is our other grandson. He'll be 7 on the fourth of July, so will have a party here while they're down here. Then we'll keep Thomas for another 4 or 5 weeks.

Well folds, my eyes are starting to cross. I think I had better go to bed. Take care and be blessed. Life on the porch is great...even tho 2 very important people are missing. They're gone, but not forgotten.  Stay cool....life is hot, but good on the porch....
