Hello everyone,
Finally rested up, cooled down and found time to update my blog. I hope you all enjoyed your fourth of July. We were up in Klamath Falls with two of our three daughters, and 4 of our 5 grandchildren. It was Liam's birthday. He turned 7 on the 4th. It was a Dinosaur Party. Lots of people showed up at the wonderfully planned and executed party. We had a T-Rex pinata, and cake with dinosaurs and volcano's on it. Lots of presents...mostly dinosaurs. He loved all his gifts and had a great time partying with his friends and family. Then that evening, our kids with their kids, went to watch the fire works downtown and Frank and I sat on Franki and Sean's second floor balcony and watched the fireworks from 3 towns surrounding K. Falls and even saw the show K. Falls put on. It was so pretty, cool and private. So we all had fun on the fourth. Saturday late afternoon, Frank started feeling a little sick, so we went home early. Thomas came back with us for a few more weeks. Frank ended up getting pretty sick by 1:00 a.m. He started throwing up every 15 or 20 minutes and did this for a day. Finally figured out he had a kidney stone. He's still sick and today is Tuesday. So tomorrow he's going to the Dr. whether he wants to or not. He's only been drinking milk since Sunday. Can't hold anything else down. Can't go to work, which makes me sick and I can't hold anything down...(not really, but I am worried about his recovery. He never gets sick like this. He always bounces right back up after an illness.) In 30 yrs. he's had 4 sick days. This week he's had 3. That says something. I'll keep you updated on how he's doing.
My precious friend and Sister, Suzy; has finally found a spot to move her "Cabin" to. Unfortunetly it's far from us, here in Redding. God blessed my life with Susy and her family, so now it's time to share what she has brought into my life. The love, compassion, understanding, her positiveness. All goes to show what an amazing woman she is and how much difference she makes in the world. Bryan is just a responsible in his ministries, too. They are Godly people doing the will of the Lord. Blessings to them. They have taught me to stop talking and listen to people and not judge them. Try to put yourself in their places, then work things out. I will miss our daily talks sitting at our bistro together. But I'm sure the Lord has a better bistro for her at her next job. Go with God dear Suzy. You will be miss here in Marina Park Rv. very much. We love you all...Patti, Frank, Thomas, Ragu, Patches and Stinky. |
