Hello everyone,

   Today was a beautiful day, here on the porch.

The skies were smokless!! Praise the Lord! It was a warm 93 degrees and the sun was sparkling and radiant. If I hadn't fallen 3 or 4 days ago and hurt myself terribly, I would have totally enjoyed the day! I was out side on the porch, rocking on my rocker...but I didn't move much. My left hip and lower back hurt awfully. So as long as I didn't move much, it was very pleasant.

Anyway, I still miss my Suzy, Kent, Bryan and Pood, so I was asking Frank if there was anything we could do to change what had become my "comfort" zone with Suzy and family. After much thought and discussion AND a trip to our local Lowes...we've decided to add to my porch. So next week end Frank is adding 8'x8' MORE to the deck. He's going to take our awning/tarp down and put a stable roof on the deck. We get some pretty severe wind here and it wrecks havoc with the awning/tarp...so he's replacing it with that wavy, panel that comes in a variety of colors now. I've chosen dark brown to match my RV. (It's called "smoke" quite ironically)

At any rate, the porch will definetly look different. Of coarse we all know that I won't forget Suzy and the gang, but it's a good excuse for change.
