My goodness, where has July gone?? As I sat on the porch today I realized that it was the last day of the month. Do you realize that means Christmas is only 4months and 25 days away? Is your shopping done? Is it even started yet? Are your cards addressed? And most important of all?????? DO YOU HAVE THE POSTAGE FOR THE CARDS?????

There, there...calm down now. Take a deep breath! We can do this. If we get started right away, we'll still make it before the 24th of December.

Awwwww.....I find if I talk to myself like this, Christmas will come and go without a hitch. I feel very calm right now. Breathe in, breathe out...yes, very calm indeed.

Anyway, the long hot days of July are gone, next are the long hot days of August. LOVE 'EM!!! Only a day until my porch goes into renovation. I'm excited and jazzed. New idea keep pouring in and I jot them down. Frank comes home from work, reads them on their little "post-its" and then throws them in the trash. He knows what he wants to do...lol. Actually, he has taken to one of my ideas. I want him to tile part of the deck with shale looking rock to match the fountain area. He likes that idea, so it stays.  The rest, like a spa/hot tub, built in bar, ceiling fans....are a big NO, as he puts it. So unreasonable. Just because this is an RV Park and we'll be leaving one day....daaannnggg!

Anyway, I'll keep you updated on the building AND the ideas that get past him. Blessings to you all.  Life continues to be great...here on the porch.
