I will leave this one up for a while, but my new exciting updates and words from the Lord and accumulated wisdom will be appearing on my new blog from now on.:)

I think my blog is full.  I can’t put any new pictures on it, and that’s my favorite thing to do.  I’m going to try to figure this out, and then I will write some more.

I found this neat little activity at www.homeschoolbits.com.  It was a freebie.  I really appreciated the activity and the timing.  It was easy to make into a lapbook.

We wrote the meanings of the colors and the stars and stripes inside the booklets.  A quick and easy lapbook.  I’m feeling more creative all the time.  It’s not so intimidating any more to try to put together my own lapbook.

Our wonderful neighbors just built a new play set in their backyard.  They have been very generous in letting our kids use it, too.  The kids have really enjoyed swinging and sliding and climbing.  It has been very good for covering Phys. Ed. this summer!

Now Emma doesn’t say to me every single day, “Mommy, I want to go to the park.” Now she asks me to take her over to the neighbors. Somehow that seems a lot more doable than walking a mile to the park. Now providing exercise for the kids and giving them something fun to do is like a walk in the park! But a lot more convenient.

I just found out I won the Math Bootcamp software! I’m so excited. Praise the Lord! He is really answering my prayers about teaching Math to my children. He is always faithful. I just love this Spirit-led homeschooling!
