Believe me, it does. It also smells weird. And feels weird. And SPF8
doesn't work on very fair-skinned people. I learned that yesterday. And
it especially doesn't work if you accidentally spread it too thin. Or
miss places.
Anyway.
Yesterday we decided to practice music outside again, since Dad had the
day off and Ben doesn't work Sundays. So, we got up at seven...most of
us, at least, and had a yummy breakfast of pork sausage, eggs, and
toast, then after the kitchen was cleaned the boys started setting up
outside. Dad drove the pickup into the back yard again and the boys
loaded the stuff in it, took it up to the corrals, and set it all up
again. We were out there from about ten or eleven, with one break at
two. It was fun, but very hot! Ben and I are the fairest (in the sense
that we have the lightest skin, not that we're the prettiest), so we
both put on sunscreen...SPF8. The kind Mom got for Dad that's supposed
to give you a tan. I don't know what it did for Ben, but even through
it, I got burns in some places, like the top of my right arm and spots
on my left, and my neck. But oh well! It was fun! We drank lots of
Crystal Light lemonade, which was really nice.
Eric is our photographer, and he ended up taking video clips with the
camera. The quality is horrible, though. After all, it's just a CAMERA,
and the louder songs didn't come across very well.
Like I said, it was hot and the sun was bright, so Dad let the girls
and I pick out a hat from his hat rack. It worked very well! I could
see without squinting! I looked awful dorky, but oh well. :)

P.S. On my blog, the part about music is blue. ;-)
