About Me:
When we got married, we intended on having children, but homsechooling was never discussed. We both went to public school, so it was just assumed our kids would too. Besides, aren't all homeschooled kids weird? :) Anyway, because of family circumstances, I quit my job (accounting) to stay home with the boys after Nicolas was born. When Alex was kindergarten age, we decided we did not want him to go to the public school system we were in. Having known some homeschooling families (and their kids were not all that weird), I decided I would try it that year. Here we are 4 years later, still doing it and enjoying it. We are in a co-op, and the kids love their friends! People ask us how long we are planning on homeschooling, and at this point, we have no plan. We just take it year by year. There are challenges!! But day by day, God gets us through each one.
