About Me:
As a child, I always dreamed of being a teacher. My love of children and teaching became a passion which eventually shaped my educational and life goals. I graduated with a degree in elementary education in 1985 from National Louis University and subsequently taught in the public schools.
Several years later, when my oldest daughter was four, we began our own home schooling journey. Now, 16 years later, we have become homeschool veterans! WOW! Our oldest daughter is a college junior majoring in Elementary Education and our second daughter is a college freshman working on her degree from home with an organization called College Plus. Our youngest daughter is a high school junior. But we are by not nearing the finish line! Our youngest, A BOY, will begin homeschooling next year!
Along with continuing our own homeschool journey, it is my now my desire to allow my experience and training to be a blessing and a help to others who have undertaken the incredible privilege of teaching their children at home.
