I've been homeschooled all my life, and wouldn't ever want to give it up. I'm a history buff, and have a strange fascination with Irish/Scottish accents--I'm also prone to slip into Old English at any given moment. I am rather fond of the word "rather." I am a semi-professional musician, but when I'm not playing at weddings or concerts I enjoy connecting with the cowgirl side of myself ;-). I absolutely love horses and horseback riding, and am blessed to take riding lessons as well as riding at a friend's house every two weeks. Writing is yet another of my passions--mainly historical fiction, but sometimes I get a bit more creative and branch into allegorical/fantasy. I own three dogs (two labs and a labradoodle) and am eagerly awaiting 2009, when I will start my labradoodle breeding business. And not to be forgotten is my innate love of bagpipes--both uilleann and highland! Don't let my Italian looks confuse you: inside, I cling to my 1/8 Irish heritage ;-).
