Happy New Year all. I thougt I would share with you the new KAL I will be starting this month. It is called the Secret of the Stole II. I am really excited about this. I have wanted to learn how to knit lacey things and this gives me that chance. I believe you can still sign up if you are interested. I figured I would have the help of many experenced knitters and it would give me a goal to work on. I sit at the end of our kitchen table and knit while the kids are working on school work. I can stop and help them when they need help. If I get up and do other things around the house they get side tracked and if I sit at the table and do nothing I get ancy so this way I get some thing done.  You can click on the button at the side to learn more about this project.

My two older girls have asked me to teach them how to use double pointed needles. My oldest is working on some wrist warmers for herself and my next oldest is working on baby socks. They want to make these things for the next craft fair. They learned that they needed a head start on this instead of working on things at the last minute. I am excited to see what they will get done this year.
