Spring Reading Thing

So, I have a lot of books I want to read and always seem to start them, but I rarely finish them within a reasonable amount of time.

So the 5 books I hope to read are these: (Challenging to pick only 5!)
1) Re-read Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Tedd Tripp – Children’s category – training
2) Finish Minstries of Mercy by Tim Keller – Church ministry category – mercy/service
3) Either Organization for Dummies or Organizing Plain and Simpe – Home category (I will try to finish both since I checked them out from the library! LOL)
4) The Maiden of Mayfair by Lawana Blackwell – Christian fiction category

5) Instruments in the Redeemers Hands by Paul David Tripp – Church ministry category – counseling

OK – do you all think I can do it???? I only picked one book that isn’t crucial.
I’ll read start with the others and treat myself to the fiction book last.

If these books sound interesting to you here are the links:
Shepherding a Child’s Heart
Ministries of Mercy
Organizing for Dummies, Organzing Plain and Simple
The Maiden of Mayfair
Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands

Now I’ve off to type up my theological post for today….then I need to start some lunch.

Looks like a great list! And I know exactly what you mean about starting a lot of books but not finishing them. I do that all the time! Thanks for being part of the challenge. Enjoy your reading!

    Hello C Palmer,

Thank you for noticing me !!!!! This is really alot of fun….I just am going to need to be careful during schooltime !!!!!

I love ebay too, with 4 children (5 next Fall) it sure is a great way to shop when we have the extra funds to spare – it has become increasing competitive and I find that I`m usually outbid.

Last Spring, our homeschool group held a weekly Mom`s bible study called, A Biblical Approach to Parenting…..and Ted Tripp`s book, Sheparding A Child`s Heart was referrenced quite a bit. Many of the Mom`s recommended it….so I bought it, and have only read the beginning – it is really good and one worth keeping on your list to pursure !!!!!!!!

well, I would love to hear from you again,

    Take care, Lisa
