Attempted Breakthrough
As was before stated it was around 12:30 in the afternoon. I had just walked from out of the dining room into my own bedroom, after having eaten my lunch. My thoughts were engaged upon other things, and I didn’t really notice Anna (mrs.gamgee) sitting at her desk and peering out of the window with a strange look upon her face. The desk just mentioned, was situated in front of a window facing our backyard. Our backyard in turn rests besides the backyard of the house behind ours.
I came up to behind her to show her a song on my ipod, but she didn’t seem intrigued. Nay, on the contrary she turned to me and said, “Molly, there’s a guy who’s freaking me out!”
I in turn looked out the window to see what she was looking so strangely at, and seeing nothing abnormal, she then further explained by pointing to a guy in a white shirt standing by the side of the house behind ours. She then told me that he had before knocked on all the doors and windows of the house, after which, he stood there for a very long time. All of this said, not to mention there was also no car in their driveway, and the person who lived there was a single mother and two teenage daughters. The girls were at school and the mom was probably at work. So it was very odd that some teenage guy was knocking on all the doors and windows when obviously no one was at home, plus by doing it in the backyard, not the front.
Anna then told me that she had seen him rip a screen upon a lower window, and then bang upon the window itself. By that time I too was also a little out of sorts and when I saw him throw something at the side of the house or a window, I couldn’t rightly tell, I got up and quickly informed my mom.
I came into the kitchen where mom was busily cooking away, and told her what we had just seen. Once I had pointed out the guy to my mom, she picked up the phone and called the police. Not five minutes later, they parked their cars in front of our house and came to the back of our yard. Meanwhile all three of us were standing back in my room to try to get a better view of the guy. When the police walked into our back yard, mom and us went out to the backdoor to talk to them.
By this time the guy was already out of sight, we weren’t sure if he had gotten into the house, or if he had given up. The police officers asked us the guy’s description and they thought that they knew where he might be. They then departed to go find him, and informed us that they would probably be coming back later.
The time was now 1:00, and I couldn’t focus enough to do school, so I basically sat at my desk thinking about what I had seen, and ended up thinking of the bad guys in my story.
A little while later a police officer drove up to our house again, and wanted me and my sister to ride with him in the back of his car and go with him to identify the man they had caught. He also asked my mom, and she said she’d just drive behind him and follow him. I then, being shy and not really wanting to sit in the back of the police car, decided along with my sister to go with my mom. Only now, I wish I had gone with the police officer, I would have had more to tell of. Oh well.
We rode just a half a block down our street and stopped in front of a house. I instantly recognized the guy, and suddenly a sickening feeling crept over me, realizing that the teenager lived there. It was true I had seen a few teenage boys before playing basketball in that driveway.
The police car stopped and we pulled to the side of the road. As I looked out the car window, I could see the boys family all standing in the yard, looking annoyed. One or two older teenage boys looking at the scene, also. The suspect was actually not facing us, he was made to look the other way so he couldn’t see who we were, but I knew all his brothers could. A bunch of police officers with guns strapped at their sides stood around me as I was asked to get out of the car by myself, and then asked a bunch of questions: My name, my date of birth, if I had seen the suspect before, if I recognized him to be the same one who I had seen in the back of my neighbor’s yard, etc. After a few minutes, I went back into our car, and my sister was asked to get out and it was then her turn to answer the questions as they wrote them down. It was then my mom’s turn, but she didn’t know a whole lot, she hadn’t seen the boy for very long before the police had arrived.
We then drove home.
It was not until later that evening when I was standing in my back yard talking on the phone with Katie, when the woman who lived in the house behind us, saw me and walked up to me. She asked if we were the ones who had seen and called the police, I told her yes. She then thanked me profusely and told me that the guy had indeed broken a window, and if it weren’t for the police would have most likely gotten into the house and maybe stolen something. I smiled and told her it was no problem; that we were glad to have helped.
Now mom has told us that whenever she leaves the house, Anna and me are to make sure both the back and the front doors are locked. It is kind of scary knowing that the boy lives just a few houses down from us. The whole incident gave me a new perspective on things, so I intend to make sure the doors are locked when I’m home alone.
I hope you all enjoyed my exiting day yesterday!
I fare ye well!

A poem
Here is a poem I wrote, being inspired by the moonlight in the night drive home from church. I wrote some of it on a church bulletin that was in my Bible, and sribbled it down until I came home to type it out. Please tell me what you think.
Her ebony tresses fell silvery in the moonlight,
She danced by the light of the moon.
The silver sphere shown down from heaven,
Its gaze fell softly upon the wood nymph,
Dancing, dancing,
Dancing in the moonlit night.
Her voice lifted its song silver-tuned in the moonlight.
She sang by the light of the moon.
The feathery mists smiled, framing the moon.
The forest nymph was Swayentlay – the moon’s daughter,
Singing, singing,
Singing in the moonlit night.
Her pale skin shown white in the moonlight,
Her beauty shown in the light of the moon.
And she prayed on in the moonlight,
Her voice whispered a tune to her King.
Praying, praying,
Praying in the moonlit night.
And she danced on in the moonlight,
She sang on by the light of the moon.
The darkening shadows crept through the night,
But Swayentlay danced on through the night.
Dancing, dancing,
Dancing in the moonlit night.
The veiling mists departed in the moonlight,
Silently by the light of the moon.
Her sweet song stopped on her lips,
Her dancing feet ceased in the night,
Swayentlay, Swayentlay,
Swayentlay in the moonlit night.
The silvery light broke the edge of the night.
A hush of wind blows the enchanting night.
Gone is she, the moon’s daughter,
Swayentlay, the moon’s silver-tuned daughter.
Not a trace, not a trace,
Not a trace is left in the sunlit morn.
The sun slowly breaks the moonlight,
Its golden shafts outline the morning light.
Not a trace is left to show where she –
The moon’s dancing dark haired daughter may be.
No more, no more,
No more is she in the sunlit morn.
But still when the moonlight is strongest,
When the darkness is longest,
Swayentlay dances on in the moonlight,
Her voice silvery-sweet in the moonlight.
Dancing, dancing,
Dancing in the moonlit night.

In Timely Fashion Hairstyles
Well hello!
Recently I have been looking at different hairstyles and there are a few old fashioned ones that I simply adore! They are so easy, and now I can do some of them in less than five minutes.
Click here to see the one that I like the most. And after it is done and dried, my hair comes out curly! Which for me, is amazing. I have never been able to curl my hair. So anyway just have fun doing the differant hairstyles if you want to. click here to see the main site.
If you do it, then please tell me which one you do, and if it turned out! Thanks!

Laptop Computer!!! And My Awesome Brother...
Hey!
I'm not sure if any of you know, but I have an older brother who is 20 and in the military overseas. Well he was the one who took me to see my other brother and his family who live in San Fransisco California, which is a long way away from where I live. Anyway, that was last spring when he was on leave and came home for a few weeks. We took a plane ride out there, and it was very very nice of him to pay for my ticket.
Well he just told me that he was going to give me his old laptop computer!!! He said he would send it in about two weeks or so...*faints* I can't wait! You see, my computer, is well...how do I say this nicely? *clears throat* it let's just say is very old, and falling apart...literally. And it freezes on me all the time...you have no idea how many times I've had to restart it, and I've lost so many story files.
Anyway So I'm expecting to get to soon! And not only that, but my brother just told me that he is sending us a Wii. We should get it , he says buy this Friday! I can't believe it! Anyway I am sooooo exited to get the laptop though! I'll have my very own, and I can take it to my room, or out in the back yard in the grass while I write my story! And that is much more inspiring than in side the little office room that the computer is sitting in now!!!
I fare ye well!

Trust and Integrity
Hello!
I must admit I had a blast writing my last post! I was even tempted to end it without me telling you I was just joking and then a few days later saying I was joking...but I resisted *grins*. Anyway I have come to tell you the name of my story, as I believe Katie is going to keep the title Faithfulness and Deceit. So I found one that matched better with my plot anyway. What do you think of Trust and Integrity? For that is the name I chose, at least it is right now, I might change it if I find something better. And yes, I still have the whole Rean-Hammon and Aella (formerly known as Flora) plot. I still plan on finishing it by the end of September, so then all my dear blogging friends may be able to read it! *smiles* Well I must leave now, I'm going to try to write!
I fare ye well!

FAD...I am not writing it anymore
Ok, I am depressed...
Two years of FAD has finally won over me. I am done, I am not going to write it anymore. Two years of writing, deleting, re-writing, re-deleting, re-re-writing, re-re-deleting has spent it's tole upon me. I simply cannot write it anymore. For those of you who say I cannot stop I have no sympathy for you. I do admit I feel as though I was deserting you guys, but I am too angry and mad to care. I should be spending my time on other things, I cannot keep doing this to myself. I go from floating high, to falling off a cliff into a dark ocean where my muse then leaves me.
All my characters I will leave to fend for themselves...I do not care. MaidenCapitolaBallot, I am sorry about this, but I don't think I have what it takes to be an author. Well, maybe not that, but not an author for FAD. I won't pick up a pen (or type) until NaNoWriMo in November.
I know I shall get many comments on this post, so vent your heat.
I fare ye well,
~Molly
p.s. Did I fool ya? Well I am not going to stop writing, far from it! I am just splitting off from writing with Katie. We have decided our plot in FAD is really two different plots sorta shoved together in one book. So, *looks around to make sure no one is armed with sword or bow* we will be continuing everything we have been writing, only we splitting them into two different books as they should be. Tell me all your thought upon this subject!

Update upon my life inside my novel-in-progress...
This last weekend Katie and her family came up to my house! She came on Thursday and didn't leave until Sunday. It was a very nice visit, but I was a bit worried that like every other time Katie comes we (even though we're writing FAD together) don't get a single thing written. Well this time, Katie and me decided to change that.
So here we are, both in the same room, with the door shut to block out distracting noises, me at my big desktop computer, Katie with her laptop, our backs to each other, and both with earphones in our ears to block out all distractions. That day I wrote a little more than 900 words, Katie wrote about five more words than I. And all together we added about three pages onto our document of Faithfulness and Deceit, which is a lot to say for us.
We now have about 16,800 words in FAD, and at the moment I am more inspired to write then ever, I believe it's the same with Katie. But we must thank MaidenCapitolaBallot. It was after reading a very GOOD part in her story that we were so inspired to write FAD. Thank you Heather!
Well now I must bid you farewell! I am just about to click over to my word document of FAD to type a bunch out.

Back to School...
I have recently received remarks from public schooling kids like, "You're homeschooled! I would hate to be homeschooled!" or "Homeschooled? Don't you wish you went to school?" *grins* *breaks into a fit of convulsive laughter* The answer is no. I would NOT like to go to school, especially a high school. For instance, picture this in your minds.
…A clean white quilt pulled over a twin size bed upon which a teenage girl sits propped up with two pillows at her back. A pile of schoolbooks, an ipod sitting next to her, a bowl of cut apples at her bedside, which she sometimes munches upon, and a glass of ice tea. Not only that but the windows are opened letting a cool August breeze blow into her face accompanied with the sound of birds chirping outside her window...
I think it is the public schooling kids who should be wishing THEY were homeschooled. Not only that, but I have the best teacher who I could possibly have, one who encourages me academically and spiritually, one who has taught me throughout my whole life and who will continue to teach and encourage me as I grow older; a teacher that I will always have.
It is that time of year again and I started my first day of school today. The scene I described was really how I did much of my school today. And as the winter comes on, the scene will change some. I will still be upon my bed, with everything the same, except I will be snuggled up in a warm crocheted blanked which my mom made me, with a cup of hot tea next to me and a candle or two burning upon my bed side table.
I hope everyone else’s school year will be as blessed as mine!
I fare ye well!

tagged...
I was tagged by chezdak.
What is your favorite type of building? hmm...An old medieval castle sitting upon a misty hillside...
What is your favorite animal? My dear kitty, but I love horses! (mostly Hanaskean horses though)
What is your favorite color? Green, a leafy, grassy tree-ish green, the color things are after it rains
What is your favorite landscape? either a deep woodland filled with early morning fog, be it valley or mountain. And also long endless fields of wavering grass or barley. *romantic sigh* I wish I were there!
What is your favorite game? game, hmm...I don't think I could say. Does writing count? *sheepish grin*
What is your favorite hobby? writing of course! If you didn't know that, well then you don't know one single thing about me! I also like to read, and play piano although I'm not very good at it.
If you haven't already checked my last post, please do!
I fare ye well!

A poem I just wrote, you will never guess who it's about! (just joking :)
A pen in her hand,
A whisper of thought,
Leaks upon the paper wrought.
In her hand, she controls her pen,
Shaping each thought into a word so fine.
Her pen begins to scratch,
It pauses - she is lost in thought.
She dips her pen into the ink,
And places it upon the sheet,
In her mind, she words her thoughts.
How amazing is one drop of ink,
For through it,
Every year that stands between us,
Just seems to melt away.
She is speaking strait to me,
Though she never knew, - who I was to be.
Miss Austen knew just how to shape her words,
Like a golden thread of time, she opens our mind.
I thank the Lord for Jane,
For He knew just what was to be,
And ordained it in His good time.
And though I wish I knew Miss Jane,
I shall see her yet, and we shall sit side by side,
And in that glorious place abide.
Yes it is about Jane Austen! I have been finding out a lot about her, and I really admire her. Her brother said she was a devout Christan, and some of her last words she spoke before she died were: "God grant me patience, pray for me, oh, pray for me!" Well I shall write later!
I fare ye well!

Template change...*blushes* again....
Hello,
well I changed my template again. I realized I talk and think more about Jane Austen and her writings than the Borderlands. So I have accordingly changed my template to fit my style better. Please tell me what you think of it!

A new template!
Yeah, I know...this is my 4th template since last autumn, but I was ready for a change. I made the template one my own this time, and somehow stumbled through all the HTML needed to make a template and here it is! I don't think I will be changing this one for a while, because it really catches a good idea of how it looks to be in the Borderlands. Please tell me what you all think of it!

Yay! I found time for another post...as short as it may be
Hello!
Well right now I am just waiting for the minutes to tick by...well not exactly tick, I'm looking at a digital clock (how spoiled and lazy are we? I mean come on...a DIGITAL clock??) ok anyway I'm waiting to go and see Prince Caspian. *blushes* this is my fourth time...but hey, I like it, what can I say?
Yesterday I wrote 1,203 words of FAD, I felt very happy I should say. Today I only wrote about 300 something words. But anything is better than nothing I suppose. Well I got to go, it's just about time to leave!
Fare ye well!

I'm Back!
Hello everyone!
Well I'm back from my Aunt and Uncle's! I had a wonderful time! This will be a rather long post, seeing that I just have to update you on all the fun and exiting things I did while I was gone.
Now where do I start? Ah...yes it was last Friday.
My brother, Katie's dad drove us both about half way a little past St. Louis where we met with Aunt Mary and Uncle Duane at a pizza place. After a nice lunch, we said goodbye to Katie's dad and my dad who also came with, then it was off to the get the mowers. You see, Aunt Mary and Uncle Duane had two broken riding mowers that needed to be fixed...and the man had said it would only take twenty minutes to fix them. The short job ended up taking two hours, so the man told us to come back later. For about two hours we went driving to various place's waiting before we could go back to their ranch. When it was done, we were finally on our way!
We got out of the truck, and were happily greeted by two Great Danes and a black puppy. I stood there, and took a deep breath of the fresh country air. I was finally there...it was as if I had come back home. I was surrounded by hills and trees and grassy fields. It was breathtaking. We slept in the annex.
The next day we woke up sometime after seven a.m. maybe it was eight a.m. I'm not too sure now. Never the less that day we didn't do much of anything but go outside and sit in the hammock and walk down the beautiful gravel road.
The next day was Sunday...I'm not too sure what we did that day...but I do know we got dressed up in dress up clothes a lot. Katie had a renaissance gown that I wore a lot. That night we watched the first movie in the Love Comes Softly series. It was really good, I highly recommend it.
That night we slept in the cabin, it was the nicest little spot. It reminded me of Patties Place in Anne of the Island. Patties Place was a nice cute little house where Anne and a few of her friends stayed during college. Anyway that night after the movie was finished I was inspired to write some of FAD. So I sat upon the deck writing by the light of the full moon, and listening to the sound of the crickets and frogs by the lake.
Then next few days were spent helping Aunt Mary out, and we helped clean her basement. There were so many old things down there...it was really very exiting. And we also came upon my cousin's old dress up dress's. Aunt Mary called her and asked if we could where them while we were there, and she said yes. There was a beautiful blue Edwardian gown which Katie fell in love with. I myself found a brown gown with a vest that laced up in the front. The skirt was full and twirled when I spun around. Almost the rest of the time we were there we wore these two dresses. It was quiet comical actually. Two teenage girls helping out with various things sometimes listening to our ipods the whole time in old fashioned gowns! In fact for a few of those days a family rented the annex and whenever they looked out the window they would probally see two teenagers skipping about in old fashioned clothes. Indeed before they came my Aunt Mary told them not to be surprised, for they were not actually going back in time...it was just two geeky girls playing dress up like little kids. *grins* one little girl, she was about six, asked me if I had any other clothes. I smiled and told her yes I did, I was just wereing that dress because I rarely had the chance to go three or four days in a row without ever putting on modern clothes.
My Aunt Mary's cat had kittens when we were there too! They were adorable! And we found three turtles, two toads, and one bat, all of which we named. All three turtles were snappers, so we let them go pretty fast. But here are there names in the order that we found them. The first turtle we named Gilbert (from Anne of Green Gables), the second turtle we named George (for George Knightly from Emma...a Jane Austen novel), the third turtle we didn't even pick up, we saw it walking across the road while driving somewhere but we still named it. It was named Henry (for Prince Henry, a character in Ever After a movie I like). Then there were the toads...there names were Wickem and oh I forgot the other...you'll have to ask Katie. And now for the bat. One morning I was laying upon the hammock, when I noticed something brownish hanging from a very low branch. I got up and it was a bat! It was hanging about eye level to me. It was the cutest little thing ever! It was small enough to fit inside my palm, and it was soft and furry. It looked so adorable! It had the cutest little face and mouth! We even saw it blink a few times! But it hung there until dusk when it flew off. We named that little guy Theobald (from MaidenCapitolaBallot's story. I know you wouldn't think of a cute little bat as a Theobald, but it somehow fit!)
After a few days we had to move our beds to a camper because some other family was going to rent out the cabin. And after a night or two in there we moved back to the cabin after the people had left. It felt good be back in Pattie's Place...*smiles*
During this whole time, we also had fun swimming in the creak. Then a few days later Katie's parents and sisters along with my younger sister Mrs. Gamgee came.
It wasn't as fun from then on. I believe it was because now that so many people were there we didn't have all the time we wanted with Aunt Mary and Uncle Duane as we wanted. But it was still fun. Then we left and came home! Yesterday Katie and her family left to go to their house, and here I am!
Farewell!

Missouri!!!!!!!!!!! *runs around the room, bounce's off the walls, then comes and sits back down*
Ok, hello!
Yes, I am going to my Aunt and Uncle's farm in the country for a week!!! I can't wait!!! You see, for those of you who don't know why I'm so exited, for the last two years me and Katie have gone to Missouri for a week in the summer. And it is that time of year again! Katie is coming to my house today! Tomarrow we leave! We will be meeting our Aunt and Uncle about half way, then they will drive us the rest of the way.
Here are some pics of the place:

And is one of the dear little kitties!
Anyway, due to my Aunts VERY slow internet, and the fact that we will be so busy and happy with swimming and walking down the beautiful path of quiet bliss...I will not be posting for a week. And hopefully I will be writing like crazy! My aunt has a hamock under a little shady tree, it is so peaceful...it's just the place to lay back and write. Oh and she also has a beautiful little creak, that makes the perfect music of the water running over the rocks. It's so lovely! Oh and that means I will be writing the "Oldfashioned Way". Usually now I just type out on the computer anything I'm writing, but we shant have a computer to type away at...so I'm going to bring a notebook and a pencil.
So now that I've made you all enviouse of me, I shall bid a fond farwell!

Independence Day
Today is the fourth of July!
Last night I watched The Patriot. It takes place during the American Revolution showing the struggles and victories of that war. Something really hit me. So many people gave there lives for the freedom we now have. And we take it for granted. That made me think more than anything else. Is it not amazing how we are so quick to forget it sometimes? I have such honor for our founding fathers, and all the people who have fought, lived, and died to keep our country a free nation.
Thank you everyone of you who keep us safe and free!
