Sometimes Your Heart Just Has To Smile!
Even when the world is full of tragedy and sorrow weighs heavily on my heart... God gives me reasons to see the joy and beauty in this world. This sweet little girl, and her sister have been coming to house four days a week for the past three weeks and will continue until the end of the local school year.
Oh what JOY they have brought to me! Just look at that smile! Even when my throat is choked with tears this little one just makes me smile all the way down to my toes! Such trust! Such wonderment! Let us trust in the Lord with the innocence of this sweet, darling of a little girl!
This little one sings lullabyes to potato bugs, draws angels on my sidewalk with chalk, insists on carrying the laundry basket up the stairs for me and has the most infectious giggle!
I set out to try to be a blessing to her family and instead she and her sister have been a blessing to US!
She is sitting on my lap as I type this! She is definitely a factor in the silence of my blog lately, but what a happy kind of busy-ness! :)

Amazing how God can turn what you thought was you helping her family into her helping YOU! What a wonderful God we serve. It is good to jump by here, things are crazy at our place as well. We are so excited about Jessi's book coming out, the publicity stuff has completely taken over our entire lives!! Hugs!

Long time no blog, I know. I' m going to try and add a little thing here and there :) First Class is growing so fast that it's all I have time for outside of homeschooling the six kids, taking care of the house, loving on my husband and keeping the laundry at a manageable stack! :)
Yes I am speaking at WATCH this year :) I'll be teaching notebooking and lapbooking! I would love to meet you ...finally!
We've been speaking with Real Life Marriage: Homeschool Edition this year w/ Jay and Steve & Jane Lambert. If one comes back to the NW I'll hopefully be able to blog about it.
