I got back in! I had lost my password and couldn’t get a new one for some reason. We got another border collie puppy three days ago. We’ve named him angus. I need to go now I will post again soon.

Hello again! Well, today I will talk a little bit more about what I talked about yesterday and mabye some new things. Ok, so lets start on the TV part again. Another reason why we don’t do it is because in the Bible it says set no vile thing before your eyes. Now this is a huge verse this covers a lot of things and will take some working on. Now real quick I want to give you the meaning of the word vile, disgusting, wicked, worthless, degrading. Those are perfect examples of what comes on television each day, and this is not talking about TV this could also be in books, on the computer. This doesn’t  just mean what we see, but also what we hear. Some examples of this are music, and when we are talking to other people. So, as you can see there are plenty of reasons why we just got rid of TV. For music we only listen to Christian music. We found a good station that is national, its name is klove. I know you can listen to their radio station through the internet. There web adress is www.klove.com. at the top of the page it should say listen online you just click on that, it may take a second. Don’t worry it’s free. Ok lets move on to something else. Let’s talk about another big topic LOVE. There is a lot in the Bible about love so it may take a few posts to get through it. Lets start with Leviticus 19:18. it says you shall not take vengance nor bear any grudge against the children of your people but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. That is another big verse, because love, real love like Jesus showed while he was on earth, is hard to give. He showed so much love that while He was being crucified He was loving and forgiving the people who were killing Him. In the Bible it says once you become a Christian people of the world will not like you anymore and do mean things to us, but now that we are living our lives for Jesus and doing what He says we need to be kind back to the people who do wrong to us. This is something that is extremely hard to do at times but we have to try our absolute hardest. Well, I think that is enough to think about for now. So I will post more about this tomorrow hopefully. Meanwhile I again urge you to do what God says and follow what He says.

I hope everyone is having a good day today. So, yesterday I posted about excepting Christ as your savior, today I will talk about the next few steps. Now that you are a Christian you have new standards and new things you have to do. I have found that each day praying is a nice way to start your day. We always need to pray to God for help and guidance. He helps you do things that seemed impossible before. Also it would be a good idea to get a Bible so you can read Gods Word yourself. As a Christian we need to set new and higher standards than we had before. For kids this means honoring and respecting your parents. I know that sounds like a lot, and it is. This topic is something I still have to work on daily. In the Bible it says, children obey your parents for this is well and pleasing to the Lord. That means God is happy with us when we obey and respect our parents. So,  next time when your parents ask you to do something, instead of going off in a huff, try smiling and saying ok mom or dad. You’ll find yourself happier and your parents will be happier too. I also found doing stuff your not told to do is a great way to make your parents pleased, and it will make you happy too. The Bible also tells us to do our chores cheerfully. It says do your work with out grumbling and complaining. There are actually some things that make me feel grumbly so I do as little of those things as posible. Now, I’m not saying don’t do your chores or do as little of your chores as possible no. The thing that makes me grumbly is when I play game systems. I think the devil will try to use things like that to ruin your day. He will also try to use the tv. We found that out first hand he uses it as a double package. For one thing he uses it to suck you into it until it’s all you do. Second, it’s one of those thing where it slowly gets worse and worse. As an example,  your watching a movie and they curse once, well it was only once you say, so you keep watching it over and over. Then you try another movie and they curse a few time well your used to a little cursing so this dosen’t seem so bad so, you watch it. Then you try another movie and it has a little more and well, you get the picture. It will slowly get worse but you won’t really realize it. To solve the problem of the tv we got rid of it. We have the TV for good movies that we have on DVD and VHS. but we don’t get TV stations. Plus the TV has so many bad commercials that we feel it is not worth risking anything. For the game systems I have two days a week that I play those. Now, people will say that they need the TV for the weather and stuff but we can get the weather through the computer. I’m not saying you have to get rid of your tTV(though it would be a good thing to do) but limit how long you watch it. These are some big things I said today so don’t try to do them all at once right now, but work up to it. Your goal in life now should be to live a life for God and these are things he tells us to do so we need to  try and do them the best we can. Well that is good for today so I’ll stop there, but I hope you listen to what the Lord says, it will make you and  your family happy, and it will bring peace, true peace to your home. 

Well right now not much is happening with Ruby. So, for now I will dedicate this blog to spreading the gospel. I hope to post Bible verses each day and I see how all this works out. Ok today we will start with a few. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. This means God loves us so much He gave is only Son to die for us so we can be forgiven and go to heaven. All we have to do is except His gift of eternal life, but it dosen’t stop there then we change our lives in accordance with his word (the Bible). You’ll feel happier than you ever have, you’ll have real peace. Your life will have real a purpose. God didn’t put us on this earth to make money, goof offf, and die. We are here to spread the gospel and worship Him. Our fun and joy should come out of doing what He says even if it isn’t fun at first it pays off in the end. It gives me great joy doing what God calls me to do. We need to give all of our life over to God though. We need to examine ourselves each day to see if we are doing all we can do for the Lord. This is for anyone too. It does not matter how old you are or what situation you are in. As long as you give your life over to God and let Him lead you, great things can happen. I have recently realized that I have been doing some wrong things. If we are trying to live our lives for God then we need to do everything the Word says and it says there is no evil in God so that means there should be no evil in us. Now, evil probably won’t just come out as evil, it will try to just seep in through little ways so, we need to get rid of the little before it becomes a lot. I was reading books with some ungodly things in them so once I had relized that I got rid of the books. I did that because if we let in even a tiny bit of evil in the devil will try to work off of that and slowly something a little worse and a little worse will look ok and before we know it we could be in some pretty bad things. I believe what we read has an impact on what we do. So if if you are reading terrible books with people doing wrong things in it that could have an effect on what you do. Well that was a lot so I think I’ll stop there for today, but I urge you to think about what I wrote today it could change you and others around you for the better.
