Hey Jenny -
I read "Mission Possible" by Marilyn Lazlo (could be spelling wrong) in college and really liked it. It's about Marilyn translating the Bible for a native tribe in New Guinea and the struggles, joys and adversity she faced. I don't think it would be over the girls' head either.
