:~: September 2, 2008 :-: Labor Day

So how was everyone's Labor Day? Ours was pretty good. Dad took me and Jake on a biking trip through Cades Cove. That was pretty fun. Except when I got sick. Yeah. I don't do well in the morning. :P So we had to go pretty slow after that and stopped 2-3 times so I could breathe. lol. But, I survived and towards the end of the trail I felt ok. Just TIRED. lol.
We got to see a bear! Came right across our path within 10ft. of us. It was pretty cool but freaky at the same time. :P We saw a whole bunch of deer too. But they're pretty common. :)

Sunday after church Dad took us kids to the movies while Mom went shopping. We went and saw Kung Fu Panda. That is such a funny movie. :) We all liked it. Dad was cracking up the whole time so you know it's good. lol.

Our week is gonna be so busy. We have something everyday. Except tomorrow. Only I have something. I'm baby-sitting for some friends.

Well, that's all for now. We've gotta get ready to go. We have picnic with our homeschool group today.

Please pray for the Drews family. Their little 3 year-old boy went missing last night and they found him in their pond. Dozer went to be with Jesus. I've never met Marshie IRL, but have been blogging with her for a while and she is a very dear sweet lady. I cannot imagine what she and her family are going through right now. Please pray for them.

Ok. Here's the post about our trip. :)

We got back on Tuesday and yesterday was Caleb's 6th birthday so we took him to WonderWorks.
I played Laser tag with dad and Jake (dad lost! lol) rode the X-treme360 with mom and dad. That's like really big for them. lol And I saw Jess there too. :)

We left our house at 9:00 Friday morning and got to RI 2:00 Saturday morning.
Saturday we went to visit VoVo, went to visit mom's friend Laurie (man, I love her kitchen!! it looks like it came out of a magazine :P) and then momma dropped me, Sarah, Jake and Caleb off at Nana's to spend the night with her.
SundayNana took us to the Zoo (it was Caleb's first time and he had a blast.), had a picnic lunch, then went back to Aunties (where we were staying). Then all of us, with nana, went to Chuck.E.Cheese, and then to a little beach side restaurant called Iggy's for doughboy's. Man, that's one thing TN don't have, a really nice bakery. I don't even think they MAKE doughboy's down here. Bummer.
Monday we went to the beach in the evening. It was REALLY windy. But the water was awesome. :)
After you got past the islands of seaweed floating around you. lol.
We left 3:30 Tuesday morning and got back at 6:30 ish that night.

That about sums it up. lol.
I've put the pics in a slideshow cuz there's a whole lot of them. Our trip first, then WonderWorks. And at the end there's a picture of the first sewing project I've EVER done. (sad, I know) I sewed bean bags today for Caleb's birthday party tomorrow. It's for Corn Toss. :)

Guess What? I'm getting a job. It's at a restaurant run by some friends of ours. I start Labor Day Week. :)

I just real quick wanted to let y'all know that if I don't comment y'all right away it's cuz I'M away. :)

We're over here in RI to visit my VoVo (for all you none Portugease people "VoVo" means granpa. :P) He was in the hospital for a little while and is now in a nursing home. We're gonna go visit him sometime this afternoon. If you could please pray for him that'd be great. Thank you. :)

Tomorrow we'll be stying with Nana and the day after we're prolly gonna go to the beach.

I am 16, and the second oldest of 6 kids in a family of 8. I LOVE music. I like listening to Relient K, BarlowGirl, Switchfoot, Superchick, Hawk Nelson, Skillet, Kutless, and many many others. Oooo! And I like Icons! lol. Did mention I'm random at random times? I am Roman Catholic. I LOVE JESUS!
