I feel really dumb for posting here, but I just had to let you all know, that Sam and I have officially been friends for 1 year!!!! On October 23rd, Sam and I had our OFFICIAL frienship anniversary. We met here on HSB, and have since emailed, and talked on the phone;next year, I plan to go to her camp, Camp Lamoka, Baptist Camp. I can't wait for that!!!!

OK~ well, Sam had a wonderful idea (well~ she's full of them, i think), that we post about our guitars. We both have a guitar.... which is really cool. Except~ Sam can play the guitar~ and I can't really! I can play a few chords!

ASHLEY's GUITAR:

My guitar's name: Nick (or Nick J. sometimes)
My pick's name: Jerry (jerry is kind-of on these pics, he's in between the guitar strings)
My favorite thing to play on the guitar: Nothing, because i can only play a few chords. My mom and I are trying to learn how to play the guitar~ and when I learn how to move swiftly between chords~ I'll be able to play "Brown-Eyed Girl', 'Leaving ON A Jetplane" and "The Gambler".

Sam and I wanted to do a post about ourselves this week. So-here are some things about me.

FACTS:
1. I'm a born again Christian- and I go to a Brethren church
2. I am the oldest in my family, and my two younger siblings are both adopted from Vietnam
3. If I had to pick my favorite subject in school, I would have to say it would either being writing, or reading
4. My favorite color is royal blue
5. I love being on the computer~ I love blogging, emailing, and messaging my friends.
6. I love to write stories, and do it all the time
7. When I'm not writing, I'm either reading, listening to music, or doing school.
8. My favorite music genres are Christian, country, and a little bit of pop.
My favorite Christian singers/bands are: Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Barlow Girl, and FFH
My favorite country singers/bands are: Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evens, Brad Paisley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and Lonestar
My favorite pop singers/bands are: The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Aly and AJ (just a little bit)
9. I can do a one-handed cartwheel (and i never took gymnastics, or anything close to it!)
10. I played soccer for 7 years, basketball one year (when I was in fourth grade), and softball one year
11. I'm allergic to artificial sweetners (like aspartame, and stuff like that)
12. I can crochet, and make dishcloths the most

OK~ well, Sam and I had a really good idea~ we aren't just going to post about the Jonas Brothers~ but also some of our favorite Christian and country singers. I am not sure how often we will post~ but it will probably be once a week for each other us~ and then maybe a post together somewhere in that week (sorry, if that was confusing). Anyway, I am supposed to post about Taylor Swift today, so here goes:

Facts:
1. Taylor grew up in Wyomissing, Pa., before moving to Nashville when she was 13.
2.She hired by Sony/ATV Music Publishing as a songwriter in Nashville at age 14
3. Debut single, "Tim McGraw,'' released in the summer of 2006.
4. Her music influences are Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Leann Rimes
5. Taylor turned eighteen on December 13th 2007

Ok~ so yes, Sam did pull a April Fools Day prank on me, and it was pretty good, I actually believed her too~ until she said 'April Fools'.

But anyway, I was trying to think of something to post about, and then I was like, why not the Jonas Brothers? SO, that is what I am doing. I am going to make this post about all of them, and sometime Sam will post about Nick, I think.

Ok~ First, let's start off with a few facts:
1. They all wear purity rings
2. They have a secret handshake
3. They are all Christians, and faith is important to their whole family.
4. They all love playing guitar hero
5. Before being homeschooled, they went to Eastern Christian High School

Here's one of the Jonas Brothers, a little while back. I just have one question, what is up with Kevin's face?

Here is the whole Jonas Family:
The little boy in the front, is their little brother, Frankie, isn't he just adorable? And, I just have to say it, Kevin looks just like his Mom! LOL

Here is the last picture, and the most recent. It is from the other night, when they were on kid's choice awards. As you can tell, they aren't by themselves, especially since, they aren't girls! With them is Miley Cyrus.

Sam has been wanting to see my monkey family for a while~ since she has one too~ so I decided to take a picture of them for her~ and post it on our blog!

Ok~ since they are monkeys~ and monkeys start with M~ all my monkey's names start with M.

BTW~ after I took the picture, I remembered that I had missed putting one of my monkeys on my bed, to get the picture! Well she is orange, and is one that has velcro(is that how you spell it), and her name is Maria.

Ok~ there you have it~ my monkey family. Can you tell that I LOVE monkeys?! They are my favorite animal!

Sam wanted me to make a quick entry today, telling a little bit about us. Well, first of all, I am Ashley, some of you may know me as 01charger. I am fourteen years old, and I love to write, read, and listen to music ( especially the Jonas Brothers). I have two siblings, one sister, Gracie and one brother,Ian.

Sam, many of you may know her as mrsdrpepper23. She is also fourteen, and she loves playing guitar, listening to music ( she also likes the Jonas Brothers), and hanging out with friends. She has two sisters ( Mandy, and Jenny), and one brother, David.

We became really good friends, not long after we met, here on HSB.

Well.. I should really go...I just wanted to post a little about us. I hope you enjoy our blog. I promise, there will be something a lot more interesting in a later entry! LOL!
