Prayer Request Sunday
Welcome to Prayer Request Sunday! We have many requests this Sunday. We don't know a lot of these people who have requested prayer, but that is the beauty of belonging to God's family. We don't need to know them to pray for them. Will you help me lift them up? The Lord Jesus can heal, strengthen, restore, mend and save souls.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Philippians 4:6
- Tracie - Please pray that the Lord would provide additional work or higher pay for for their family so that she would be able to remain a stay-at-home mom. Please pray that there would be peace in the home and total trust in the Lord for everything through scripture.
- Karen - Please pray for her continued good health as she awaits the arrival of her baby in the coming months.
- Carla - (no update as of yet, so continue to pray please) The doctors found a shadow on her chest x-ray. She will be having further tests this week, on Thursday. Please pray that everything is clear and that the shadow was due to something outside of health issues. Carla is a caregiver to her mother and sister.
- Sean (on going) - He is a six year old little boy who was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymhoma in 2006. His parents are asking for prayer - strength, understanding and healing. Sean's photo and complete story can be accessed on my side bar.
- "Prince Caspian" - This little guy is still having a lot of trouble with his OCD and his ability to function. Please pray that the right decisions would be made and that financial help would be available to the family. Please continue to pray for the parents strength and wisdom in this matter.
- Natalie (on going) - By request, I have been asked to add Natalie to our prayer chain. She is a two year old little girl who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia). She has had two hospital visits, each lasting 8 days. Nat's body is responding well to the treatment, but it is a very long process. Natalie is currently in pain and has difficulty getting any sleep at night. A link to Natalie's complete story is listed on my sidebar. The Biag family thank you for your prayers, concern, love and support as they begin this long journey for Little Natalie's recovery.
- Mama Karen - We pray for Karen weekly regarding her legs and the condition she has due to a snake bite several years ago. Once again, lets ask the Lord to ease her pain during the holidays.
- Noah - This little guy will be added to our weekly prayer board and onto my side bar. He is a wonderful little boy who is in a lot of pain due to his medical condition. Click here to read more about his story. Please pray for healing for Noah, but also rest and peace with his parents. They are going through so much these days, they need our prayerful support.
- Gonzales Family - This past week, two of their children (ages 9 and 15) were killed by a passing train while on vacation. Their daughters friend also was killed. However, the younger brother was in the cart behind them and was safe; unfortunately, he witnessed the whole accident. This family has a strong support system, and are believers, but we need to lift them up continuously during the holiday as they grieve. Please pray for healing.
