Hurray! We're here in Colorado. What a beautiful place to be... the air is so clean and the sky is so blue. We are loving the farm life. Quite a change for this city girl. Everyone is doing well and learning how to cope with the new allergies, but loving the peace and quiet. The drive went well - long, but well. We made the trip through the night (14 hours) and didn't have a bump in the road. I'm always amazed at how many people travel at night.
Anyway, the Lord is doing a great work here in this tiny part of CO. We are meeting people and praying hard about where the Lord is leading us. It seems like the people we meet were destined to be met. We're discovering new things and listening carefully. There's no doubt that the Lord is talking! I do have a prayer request... can keep my little son in prayer this week - he is still in his cast and having such a hard time. He can't do most things and it frustrates him. In fact, he will push himself until he is in pain - his cast is even getting soft at the bottom! So, we will visit the doctor when we return to CA but need to push through this week with little activity. He could use some peace. Thanks everyone.
I have lots of pictures already - I just can't post them yet. There is no internet where we are staying (or television, or radio) and when we do make a stop at the library in town we aren't given much time to be on the Internet. Lots of new things for everyone to get used to. So, I'll have to post photos when we get back - with lots of stories (like running over a fox, having our trash thrown about the front yard by wild animals, a bird crashing into our window...etc). Have a great rest of the week! |
