Well, many of you read last week how I changed things up with my kids curriculum.  Thank you for the support.  Many of you asked what curriculum I decided to use in place of others.  So, once again I will post my curriculum with the changes that I made (in color). 

Now that I have made my change and have embrased the new schedule, I am SO THANKFUL I made the change.  It has made a world of difference in my school day and with the way my boys are learning.  Because of that, I want to encourage you to make changes if you feel you need to.  Taking the first step is difficult to do, but once you do...  it's so worth it!!! 

6th Grade (schools between 9am - 12:30pm)

K-12 Math

K-12 Language Arts

Easy Grammar and K-12 Grammar (I use both hand-in-hand)

Streams Of Civilization for History (This book covers everything that the state of CA requires, but it offers a Biblical balance to the reading).

Spanish (3rd year)

K-12 Science  and Answers In Genesis Creation Impact (we use these two resources hand-in-hand)

3rd Grade (Schools either between 10:00am - 11:30am OR 12:30 - 2:00) I adjust my 3rd graders schedule depending on my youngest nap schedule.

K-12 Math and Horizon Math

Easy Grammar

K-12 History

Handwriting Without Tears

Innovative KIDS Reading

Unit/Book Study for Science

***So, am I the only one who makes their school year more complicated than how it started???  I mean, I usually drop a few things in our studies mid-year - not add things!  I'm crazy, I know I'm crazy...  my schedule is proof!
