Spirited Sons - A Slow-Mo Monday?

Welcome to My Blog!

Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for! I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all! This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here. Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. A Slow-Mo Monday?

Dearest Bell Pepper isn't at his best today. He is either getting a cold (possible), or he's got some lovely combination of allergies handed to him from his parents (also very possible). He wants to continue with some school today because he knows Habanero is off with Daddy this morning. This means he has a chance to finish work and get caught up while his brother isn't looking. (Hmmm...competitive?)

Anyway, we're in slow motion today. Our church had a fantastic vision night last night, and we weren't exactly in bed at a normal time as a result. Habanero is barely noticeable in energy levels, but Bell and I could probably sleep for a week. Our fearless leader, Dashingly Handsome, has gone off "hunting" for our household needs with his "little helper" in tow. (I'm okay with that.) ;')

We'll plug along, but I don't intend to make this day overwhelming to us. This is a day to enjoy the warm, clear weather, too. Right?

Not a fantastic Monday here. Had to deal with dishonesty with my son, and am now having to monitor my punishment for him for most of the day. I feel, in a way, I'm being punished too.

I think it is nice to have a slow day every now and then. ;-)

BTW, here's the Bible by e-mail site. You tell them what version you want, and each day you get a Bible reading e-mail, so that by the end of the year, you've done the whole Bible. I love it. It is certainly inspiration to read when I have that sitting in my inbox waiting on me!
